Haha, yes, your reaction to seeing Olivia Colman in this show is appropriate. You should check out some of the Mitchell and Webb sketch shows, every time she appears there it makes me laugh that she's now the prime actress of her generation :p

Jeremy/Jez is played by Robert Webb - David Mitchell's comedy partner. They were at university and have done numerous shows together. 'Peep Show' is one of the top 5 UK sitcoms of the 21st century, in my opinion. So many memorable quotes, characters and scenes. Strap in!

A lot of it is sort of cringe comedy, but the characters are such dicks that they deserve everything they get. That's what makes it easy to laugh at instead of just feeling uncomfortable
