I just love the subtitles spelling Mat‘s name wrong. Just because that’s what Mathew said has happened all his life (because his parents decided to spell his common name with only one t to make it more unique or something like that). I’m also already far too invested in Mathew doing well. I really want him to succeed

It's going to be fun watching this season in real time. Was a YouTube called Neil Talks a couple years ago and I loved watching his reactions right after I'd watched the episode. This cast seems like an insane mix, can't wait to see the teams

You're not going to want to hear this, but I think I've realized what I like most about watching reactions is *re*-visiting one of my favorite shows, so the ideal time for me to watch this would be several months or a year from now, after I've already seen and half forgotten S19. I'm still totally going to watch along with you though 🤣 But I think I'm more excited for the AU series starting up soon. At any rate, I did start watching -- but since this episode doesn't even go live until ~8 hours from now in the US, I'm going to come back and finish your reaction tomorrow after I've seen it.
