One of the best episodes for me made so much better since I’ve learned some behind the scenes things from their book and a panel. All the time you see Humphrey’s head on that cabinet, it’s for once not green screen but actually Laurence standing inside the cabinet and that’s all I can now see when watching this 🤣 Also that moment you loved with Pat is basically all improvised by Jim. All that he was supposed to do according to the script is point at his hand and say “you’re there”. But then Jim just went on with the eating and shuffling out of shot and it all ended up in the final cut to the astonishment of all

The six idiots decided fairly early on they would only do 5 series of Ghosts, so yes, they knew this would be the last Series. And you can tell they pulled out all the stops. IMHO S5 is the best series. It’s quite a ride. 😊 I was lucky enough to see this episode at a screening with the cast. I was sat near Ben and it was so much fun to see him laughing. Pat and Thomas got the biggest laughs. Laurence burst into tears when he was asked what he would miss about the show. 😢
