I heard an interview w/ Alex recently where someone asked him about American Taskmaster, and he very very strongly hinted that trying to do a US version again in the future someday isn't out of the question. Didn't sound like anything was actually in the works and I'm not gonna hold my breath, but I was surprised he even said it. Conan O'Brien I think would make it work. Imagine Conan as TM with comedians like Bill Hader, Paul Rudd, Tina Fay on there. I haven't seen the us version but I suspect it was more like a roast type of vibe

Mathew Baynton has been at Alex's charity football matches, so I'm expecting him to be the first of the six idiots on TM. I know Ben Willbond wants to do it and has some connections via his agent or manager or whatever. I'd personally love Larry Rickard on the most. I just know he'd be hilarious and so chaotic

I love how much Ardal wants to win but not make it too obvious, if he hadn't discussed EVERY entry for the historical recreations I don't think there was even a slight chance for him to get 4 points 😂 everyone in this series is amazing, the banter between them is GOLD

We have been campaigning for a horrible histories taskmaster series for years, but I don’t think they will do it 🥲 btw if you want to refer to them as a group, they are known as ‘the six idiots’.

Ardal always looks out of his comfort zone. I don't think his comfort zone really exists tbh. If you watch him on Father Ted, the show he is most known for starring in, he basically plays himself - just a lot more exaggerated and daft
