이번 작업을 하면서 제 컨디션과 건강 문제의 원인을 찾았습니다..
While working on this piece, I was finally able to identify the cause of my condition and health issues....
..문제는 역시 카페인(커피) 였습니다.
근데, 예전엔 이게 과다 복용을 해서 문제라고 생각했는데 그게 아니더라구요
제 체질자체가 카페인에 예민한 체질이었는데 그걸 모른채로
카페인이 들어간 간식이나 음료를 무분별하게 '계속' 먹어왔던게 문제였습니다.
..And the problem really was caffeine (coffee).
At first, I thought it was an issue of consuming too much, but that wasn’t actually the case. It turns out that my body itself is very sensitive to caffeine, and without realizing that,I had been continuously consuming snacks and drinks that contained caffeine without much restraint.
저희 어머니쪽 체질이 카페인에 굉장히 예민해서
커피를 드시면 잠을 못주무시는 체질인데
저도 어머니와 같은 체질이었는데 그걸 모르고 계속 카페인을 먹고 있던거였어요
On my mother’s side, she’s extremely sensitive to caffeine—
if she drinks coffee, she can’t sleep at all.
And it turns out that I have the same constitution as her,
but I didn’t know that and kept consuming caffeine anyway.
전에도 여러번 카페인 음료로 인해 컨디션이 망가지게 된적이 있어서
먹는 카페인 양을 최소한으로 줄이고 조심해왔었는데 ...
의사와 상담해보니 저는 카페인을 아예 먹지 않거나, 필요하다면 일주일에 한번정도로만 먹어야 할정도로 예민한 체질 이었습니다
In the past, there were several times when my condition completely fell apart because of caffeinated drinks,
so I had already been trying to reduce my caffeine intake as much as possible and be careful about it…However, after consulting with a doctor, I learned that I’m so sensitive that I should either avoid caffeine entirely,
or, if absolutely necessary, limit it to about once a week.
실제로 최근에 계속 피곤하고 커피를 마시면 오히려 졸리고..
몸상태가 이상해서 10일정도 카페인을 중단했었는데
콜라를 반캔 정도 먹었더니 각성효과가 강하게 나타나면서 낮은 온도에서도 땀을 흘리고 가슴이 뛰게 되더라구요 콜라 반캔 만으로도 신경이 확 조여드는 느낌이 들었습니다
Recently, I’d been feeling constantly exhausted, and drinking coffee actually made me feel even sleepier..
Because my physical condition felt strange, I stopped consuming caffeine altogether for about 10 days,and then after drinking just about half a can of cola, the stimulant effect hit me strongly—
I started sweating even in cool temperatures, and my heart began racing. Even half a can of cola was enough to make my nerves feel tightly wound.
카페인을 자주 먹으면서 적응하다보니 이런 반응에 무뎌졌던거였고..
그런 와중에도 카페인은 저에게 계속 데미지를 주고 있던거였어요
제 몸에 생기는 문제의 대부분은 여기서 생기고 있던것이었습니다
Because I had been consuming caffeine regularly, I’d grown used to it and became numb to these reactions..
But even during that time, caffeine was still continuously damaging my body.
Most of the problems my body has been experiencing were coming from this.
제 몸은 커피를 반잔만 마셔도
다른사람들이 커피를 2~4잔 마시는 것만큼의 부담이 생기는데
저는 그걸 매일 반복해오고 있던 거였어요
For my body, even half a cup of coffee creates a burden
equivalent to other people drinking two to four cups,
and I had been repeating that cycle every single day.
사실 예전부터.. 제로 콜라를 자주 마셨다가 앓아누웠던거라던지 ..
몬스터나 박카스를 자주 마셨다가 앓아 누웠던거라던지 ..
Looking back, there were signs from long ago.. like frequently drinking zero cola and then ending up bedridden, or often drinking caffeinated energy drinks and then suffering from lingering aftereffects afterward.
징후는 있었는데, 제가.. 깨닫는게 너무 느렸습니다..
낭비한 시간이 너무 많아서 후회가 많이 됐는데 ㅠㅠ..
이제라도 알게됐으니 앞으로라도 잘 관리해보려고 합니다
The warning signs were there, but I realized it far too late..
I regretted how much time I had wasted because of it ㅠㅠ..
But now that I finally understand what was going on,
I’ll do my best to take better care of my health from here on out.

컨디션을 잘 관리하면서 속도를 내보도록하겠습니다! ㅠㅠ
For my next work, I plan to continue working on the New Year fan art and the next episode of the Zenless comic.
I’ll make sure to take good care of my condition and try to pick up the pace! ㅠㅠ
