Because I played an embarrassing amount of Enter the Gecko (do what you say??) as a kid, the Gex bit killed me. I didn't get alot of the pop references because of my age at the time, but for some reason I just had a nice time with it. All of your Gex references crack me up.

Just wanted to come on and say that, after watching this video, I decided hey why not play Deus Ex. I'm not really someone who plays games beyond Animal Crossing so its an exciting development. I have a macbook, so the process of installing the game has forced me to learn all kinds of tech magic like installing stuff using a terminal, and generally living my best cyber punk computer hacker life. I'll never complain about long hours of quality video essay to feast on but I re-watched the mirror cut-content after this and it felt like such a neat little package all on its own I immediately realised that if the choice is between one mega video or multiple smaller ones I'd take the smaller/medium sized projects in a heartbeat if it means less time between meals.

I absolutely understand why you want to stop making such long videos and how the personal cost is so high... but in the spirit of supporting your creative choices, I have watched this multiple times and I still cannot understand how it is 3 hours long. It never feels like the ideas aren't smoothly linked in a continuing narrative, it doesn't ask for a lot of time to establish a context before revealing the reason why, it certainly never lets my attention flag to the point where I'm checking how much time is left, all of which are things I see often in other people's ONE hour videos. I don't know where you could have removed anything, it's all so well assembled.

I am just at the police station discussion, but the Alpha/Beta/Omega Personality (Test? Detector?) took me the fuck out. It's late and just as a avid fanfic reader and writer this cracking me up! This video is great, I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts again! Also I have watched and enjoyed a over 5 hour analysis Video about Victorious (a show I never watched), pls make the videos as long as you want to! Also: I have a friend who lives in an apartment building in Boston, kind of a slum actually, and the hipster landlords just replaced all the door locks with electric bluetooth locks that can only be unlocked by a smart phone. Never mind that a phone can die and then you're locked out. Never mind that the 1000 problems with the building that actually did need work are still not fixed. At least now it's easy for them to evict people! :( (RE: there are no locks in the future!)

Rewatched your rwby video last week and laughed when you said, at the end, that you would never make a video that long again. It's OK! You have a lot to say about stuff!
