Once a year, right after the days grow longer, every village honour age old traditions by a blood sacrifice in the ancient himefulkian guidestones located far into the perilous mountains around Himeheim. The ritual is a way to usher in yet another prosperous and gracious year by tributing their forebearers, glinting heirloom weaponry held up high in reverence to the blood moon Helhdir, and the secondary full moon Brimir bearing witness.
As Njorijanna and her folk are fulfilling the ritual, we too wish you good health and fortitude. The past two years contributed to despair for many, and while challenges are ever present, this dark chapter has some bright rays of hope piercing through at last.

Much obliged Tuume, we really love to 'flesh out' our characters, not only in form, but to us lore is equally important. Bringing back a sense of wonder and magic. So get ready, much more where that came from! 😉

Guess i have some catching-up to do:) i read a bit of scandinavian studies in university but was fed up with it after, because of the joyless way they taught it. But with njori as a tutor, it should be much more fun:)

Always brings a smile reading your replies Glen!😁Its only a bloodletting tradition, the vegvisir altar holds great power and will guide each and one of them and reveal new paths in life or reinforce excisting good bonds if a person is already on the right track. See it as a altar of destiny. The runestones behind her holds a clue to their lore, non has yet to crack it tho.
