🕑 Added 2025-06-28 15:51:43 +0000 UTCWhile working, I continue to make games as usual. However, it is surprisingly not close to completion. It is only recently that I have finally settled on an art style.
For years, my pixel art has been a specialized exploration of single-picture landscapes. Therefore, it took me a long time to remember how to hit the pixel for games. To do so, I had to revive the feeling I had 20 years ago.
And now that I have remembered, I am no longer able to maintain my form as a “modern man”. In these times of unprecedented demand for correctness, regressing to the spirit of 20 years ago can be unprotected and frightening.
I say game for convenience, but I am probably just building a place for myself, a tank for myself, and so far there has been no competition or game clearing. I was not going to release much information, fearing that spoilers would diminish the experience. But if I am making a “place” for myself, perhaps that is not necessary.
I am sorry for being so rambling. Let me conclude with the most important thing. I am fine. Thanks to all of you.

Games don’t have to be about an objective. While games about just exploring can be scoffed at by some and regarded as indies for hippies, there is a niche market for them, on platforms such as itch.io.
