WIP O' The Week
🕑 Added 2021-01-07 08:34:29 +0000 UTCWork-In-Progress. :)
I've had a bit of a day, and really needed to unwind a bit. Doodling is cheaper than drywall repair and knuckle bandages. :D
So I took that Miki sketch from a week or two ago, and cleaned it up- if you can call "almost completely redrawing it", 'cleaning up. :) Tried to work on the plod a little more, filled out the chest and butt, fluffed up her tail and started some proper coloring.
I'll try and finish 'er up this weekend, but as always, time is against me.
Doc.

The logo on the mug is good. "Awoo Fuel" would probably be funnier.

Huskies are soft all over.

This is a WIP? This looks great as it is.

You are making this available on a tee that we can gift to certain friends who greet the morning with us, yes?

I find myself with a sudden soft spot for huskies.

Well $50 or more for a couple dozen custom logo mugs may make you think twice about the expenditure, while the comically oversize coffee mugs 2 for $5 at the discount wholesale store that would make for a funny gag in your coffee shop you don't even worry about.
She looks like my GF in the morning.

So... they can’t afford logo on cups, but they can afford oversized coffee mugs.... Or is that just a standard thing at coffee shops?

Thanks Doc :)

Well, realistically, that's because the default coffee-cup logo when I'm doing a sketch, is the little simple "Doc's" logo that I've been using for literally over fifteen years now. For a literary canon explanation, it's because Cara hasn't been able to afford custom-printed cups yet. The Doc's ones are just a couple that migrated over when Morty would come by for a cupful.

Why are the short ones always so cute?

I'm surprised Miki is using a DOC mug, and not a Cara's Coffee mug.

Morning Miki if still Magnificent Miki! :D ... and if you are too busy to fluff our tail and chest another time I can volunteer!
