Red's Weekly Update
🕑 Added 2020-04-06 16:31:00 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Obviously this week's major update is the final result from March's request contest. In typical Red fashion I've gone completely overboard on what was just supposed to be a "sketch." But as I may have already mentioned, Ryuko's one of my favorite anime characters of all time and Kill la Kill is one of my favorite shows recently. On top of that I was really happy with this particular sketch, so I couldn't help taking it farther.
This also means that I've got more content to share! Tomorrow I'll be posting digital extras (avatar icons and wallpapers), high-res versions, and the .psd file for the appropriate tiers.
I'm also working on processing a recording of the sketch process which I'd like to give a quick voiceover to talk about my process. I'm no expert, so I don't want to run it like a "tutorial," but I thought it might be interesting to see my approach to drawing.
Pod's New Program is still ongoing, this month I'll be making a big push for placeholder art so I can flesh out the structure of the game in terms of scene/option progression. Then will come the dialogue system. Got some ideas on that, but I'm expecting it to be a bit tough. We'll see.
Anyhow, I'm planning to package up my current progress for this month's build by the end of this week.
Until then, huge thanks for your support! Stay safe friends.
