I often found myself acting based on others' expectations and desires, completely forgetting my own needs and authentic desires. "Trova la tua passione e segui quel fuoco interiore. SarĆ la tua guida nella vita." This attitude only brought me frustration and dissatisfaction.
When I finally started recognizing and accepting my true "wants", only then did I begin to manifest my desires in reality. Before, I would often confuse my true desires with obligations imposed by society or others. For example, I thought I had to make certain choices just because they were considered "right" or "appropriate". I didn't realize that these choices were merely external impositions and didn't truly reflect what I wanted.
The result of this confusion was that even my true desires became perceived as obligations, creating a sense of oppression and imprisonment. A part of me rebelled against this situation and grew tired of living a life based on "should". I realized I needed to do something to free myself from this oppressive cycle.
Finally, one day I woke up and made a discovery: I don't have to, I want to! I began to carefully listen to my inner voice, connect with my authentic desires, and prioritize them. I understood that there's nothing wrong with wanting what we truly desire, regardless of what others deem appropriate.
From that moment on, I started building my life based on my true desires. I began to follow my passion and invest time and energy in what genuinely made me happy. I discovered that manifesting my true desires brought me a sense of freedom and satisfaction I had never before experienced.
Of course, this doesn't mean that I have completely eliminated "should" from my life. There are still responsibilities and obligations that I have to face, but now I am able to manage them differently. I no longer blindly submit to what others impose, but I assess them and evaluate if they align with my desires and values. If a "should" aligns with a true "want", then I accept it and face it consciously.
Thanks to this awareness, my life has flourished. I have stopped living like a robot just following external impositions and started listening to my true essence. I have discovered an infinite source of joy and personal fulfillment that I could only find by following my authentic desires.
Every now and then, I still remind myself: you don't have to, you want to! Follow your true desires and live the life you truly want. Never allow anyone to confuse you or make you believe that your aspirations are not important. Your happiness is the most important thing, and only you can achieve it.
This field will help help you to accept and become ONE with this new reality, the only one deserve.
