๐ข Update 0.0.5 โ Daisy Events & New Animation System

Added Story Event 1 with Daisy in the Kitchen. Includes 68 static renders and 2 unique animations with 6 total camera angles, 3 angles per animation.
Added Story Event 2 with Daisy in the Laundry Room. Includes 47 static renders and 1 unique animation with 5 camera angles.
Added 1 unique animation to Daisy skill tree with 5 camera angles.
In total this update includes 115 static renders, 4 unique animations, and 16 different camera angles.
๐ Gameplay Changes
The main feature of this update is the new AnimationSystem. Previously all animations were mp4 videos with fixed playback speeds. This caused problems on some devices where the H264 codec failed to load which resulted in a black screen. There were also only a few speed presets and every loop had a visible pause at the end because the video restarted from the beginning.
Now animations are created directly in Unity. They use pure PNG frames instead of mp4 which removes codec issues and improves quality. The system now supports a smooth speed slider, multiple camera angles, and unique animations that can be unlocked with in-game points. Black screen issues and loop pauses should be gone completely. All older animations have been migrated to this new system.
โจ Navigation and Character Updates
NavigationSystem and CharacterSystem were rewritten. Bugs with characters appearing in the wrong rooms, disappearing, or teleporting between rooms should now be fixed. Favorite rooms were added and locked areas will gradually unlock as you progress through story events.
๐ง Technical Updates
The project now uses the new Input System. I am working on full controller support but this takes time. For now some basic functionality works only in the main menu.
A new character interaction system was added. There are now four buttons for Story Events, Unique Animations, Public Events, and Talk for starting the mini-game.
The main menu was redesigned to feel more polished. A new Credits tab with subtitles was added. I also adjusted the Splash Screen to give the game a nicer start.
The overall UI has been visually improved and polished.
Added a new post-sleep UI with a shop for unique animations. At the moment it contains only one animation but in future updates your stats will convert into points for purchasing more. For now 100 points is enough to unlock the first Daisy animation. A small new feature was added called Day Event which shows a short summary of the day.

๐ฌ Developer Notes
This was another crazy month. It was extremely difficult and I am completely exhausted but incredibly happy that the new AnimationSystem is finally working. This month had a huge amount of animation work, especially the 5-angle setup which I have never done before. Next I plan to add the player stat system and more unique animations you will be able to purchase. I also want to prepare a Steam page soon.
