🕑 Added 2025-07-29 23:01:01 +0000 UTCExcerpt: “If you don’t stop, I’m going to wind that pretty braid of yours around my fist…and tug.“
Premise: In the darkest corner of Sunfire Isle, you’ve learned the only rule that matters: survive. Day by day, coin by coin. You keep your head low, your secrets close, and trust no one — least of all strangers.
That is, until Rester The Sleepless comes to find you.
His name doesn't carry the same horrific impact as his brothers’, but there’s a reason for that. After all, the deadliest creatures are the ones with the least amount of rumours.
And yet, when he seeks you out, it’s not with death in hand, but a proposition.
Dragonkin are disappearing in the south, and Rester believes you’re the only one who can help him uncover who’s responsible.
But nothing is ever that easy.
As your journey begins, the two of you must navigate not only the road but also each other. And the deeper you dig into Rester’s life, the harder it becomes to deny the chemistry between you, even as it blurs the line between begrudging ally and something far more tempting.
But beware.
Because the closer you get, the more you risk losing yourself to him—body, heart, and soul.

Snooooza you've done it again with this Series! I'll admit that I wasn't expecting Rester's story to go in this direction but I was certainly intrigued! I'm curious to see if he or any of the other brothers would get a sequel to theirs that might connect to one another! And Mr. Chambers was fantastic as always! I was definitely elated that he was chosen as Rester!

I really hope this is not the end of this saga. It is amazing. My favorite one so far next to the 'Our' series.
