Reluctantly Caught - Chapter 2
🕑 Added 2021-07-01 22:21:56 +0000 UTCElliot wasn’t sure how quickly he fell asleep into the drive or how long he had been asleep for. He was gently woken by his mother with her hand on his shoulder.
“Sweetheart we’re at the first stop.”
He yawned and rubbed his eyes, the invasive sunlight was making it hard to adjust to the brightness.
Suddenly he felt an equally invasive hand peel back his shorts and press up against his padding.
“Oh you’re not wet.” His mother asked surprisingly.
That jolted him awake, shit he hadn’t woken up dry since he had been caught. Well he hadn’t missed a night not intentionally wetting himself to keep up the charade. He couldn’t tell for sure but he swore that there was the tiniest hint of disappointment in his mum’s tone of voice.
“Yeah I guess because you changed me before we left.” He shrugged.
His mother pondered. “It’s been a couple of hours; I guess I thought…..”
She trailed off before quickly reeling back. “Never mind, good job honey I’m proud of you.”
Her hand finally retreated from his pants; it was in there for so long it was like she was desperately trying to find some tiny trace of wetness. Her reaction was so strange Elliot wondered, he also cursed himself for not using his diaper before he slept. He had to be more careful, if he started having dry nights she might wonder if he had more control over it then he had lead on.
“Come on let’s get some late breakfast.”
Elliot peered out the window and saw they were parked outside of a truck stop. It had a built in diner and it wasn’t an uncommon sight he had been to them before on trips with his family. This would be the first time out in public in his diapers though, well since he was a baby that is. As they left the care he was very careful with his movements and ensured none of the plastic was sticking above his pants. He could hear the crinkling every time he took a step as it shifted with his movements. Surely it wasn’t that loud, it must have been his nerves and the fact he was so focused on it that subconsciously it was amplifying the sound in his mind. His mother noticed his hesitation and stubbornly took his hand so he quickened his pace.
It was a strange experience, being led inside a public place holding her hand with his crinkly diaper under his pants. Elliot had no idea how hard he was blushing right now at the humiliation he was facing. Thankfully as they appeared inside the dinner it was mostly quiet and no one even looked in their direction. They took a seat at a booth by the window and a smiling middle aged waitress dressed in a pink pin striped dress with an apron strode over to take their order. She seemed rather chirpy, Elliot sank back in his seat as she introduced herself. His mother ordered bacon and eggs and some orange juice for the both of them. He was quite capable of doing himself but the thick padding between his legs was a constant reminder and being in public with strangers was making him feel very timid and meek.
It didn’t take long for the food to arrive as the waitress put down his plate down she took a whiff and smiled to him. He returned it in kind and muttered his thanks, it did smell awfully good. But the food wasn’t the only scent he caught, powder….. Had she smelt his baby powder, he was so focused on hiding his diaper that he didn’t stop to consider how much he smelt like an actual baby. He felt inclined to quickly scoff down the food as fast as he could, the sooner they were on the road again the better. He started feeling really anxious about his diapered state, he kept checking on the waitress looking through the corner of his eye. He was consciously aware that she seemed to always look in his direction, it was probably his imagination but the feeling never went away.
“Slow down or you’ll choke.”
Elliot blushed as he wiped away the excess food from his mouth.
“Maybe you need a bib.” His mother joked.
Elliot muttered his apologies and stopped slamming down his food. She was eating at a normal human pace anyway so even if he did go faster it wouldn’t mean they would be leaving any sooner. He watched passer byers come and go, mostly gruff looking truck driving types, big bellies, chequered shirts and long grey beards. Eventually he noticed a family come into the diner, the mother put the little bundle down in a high chair. He noticed the diaper bag she was carrying and apparently so did his mother.
“Now that we could definitely do with, much more practical than having everything stuffed in the bottom of your suitcase.”
This comment sounded much more sincere then the jibe about the bib, Elliot couldn’t help but secretly wish she went through with it. Finally they had both finished their food, the same waitress came over to take their plates and his mother ordered a juice for Elliot and a coffee for the road.
“I’ll be back in a minute.”
He momentarily acknowledged her before turning back to his phone engrossed in his group chat feed. It even felt unnerving chatting with his friends while he was sitting in a diner wearing a diaper while on a trip with his mother. What would they say if they knew about everything, the shame would be overwhelming. Thankfully they had no suspicions about anything, he was too old to be having sleepovers with his mates and they knew he had a curfew but if he asked his mother nicely she would allow him to stay out as long as he was home before midnight. While Elliot was staring absentminded out the window he suddenly felt a small tug on his shirt and he instantly turned in shock to face his intruder.
“Sorry sweetheart your shirt had ridden up and your diaper was sticking out.”
The waitress was smiling down over him like she was speaking to a toddler, he wasn’t sure if he should be furious and shout at her but no words came out.
“If you’re mommy needs to change your diaper you can use the staff room, you’re a bit big for the changing table in the bathroom.”
Elliot was flabbergasted. “Thank you…” He said barely above a whisper. He looked around to see if anyone heard and saw the mother from the other family looking over and smiling at him. He sunk down into his seat wishing that moment to be wiped from existence. Finally his mother returned and he didn’t say a word just got up and left with her trailing behind him having to quicken her pace to catch up.
“Someone’s a little eager to get on the road.”
“Can we just go… please.” He said in a huff.
They strapped themselves in and set off onto the highway, the diner fading in the distance but unfortunately the memories would stick with him. The feeling of the diaper pressing against him, he was even more aware of it now and it didn’t feel as comforting. He had the sudden compulsion to tear it off and throw it out the window onto the highway, leaving it and all inclinations he had to wear it behind him. But how would he explain it all to his mother that he suddenly no longer needed to wear them the accidents just stopped one night completely out of the blue. Maybe he should come clean with her now, stop it before it kept going any further, no more lies and no more embarrassment.
But then he would be stuck with her for the length of the trip, how would she react to the news? There was no telling, not great was definitely an understatement but he didn’t want to dwell on the possible consequences any longer. He suddenly felt his bladder twinge as he shifted in his seat.
“Can we stop I need to use the bathroom.” He asked rather rudely.
She shook her head. “Why didn’t you go in the diner when I did?”
Elliot hadn’t even thought about it at the time, so that’s where she wondered off to.
“Well why didn’t you say anything?” He remarked rather annoyed.
His mother sighed. “I didn’t think I had to tell my grown son when I went to the bathroom to remind him to go as well, guess you’ve been having more trouble than I thought.”
Elliot cringed, the conversation did take a quick shift in his direction, she was right he looked like a daft fool right now. He hadn’t even thought about it at the time, maybe it was because when he was strapped into his diapers for the night the thought of the bathroom no longer occurred to him, he just did his business when he felt the urge. Maybe that whole time he had needed to go and he didn’t even consider it, had he even gone that morning before they left on the trip. He remembered her waking him up getting him changed into a clean diaper and they set off. Had he not peed since he wet himself before going to bed the night before.
The realisation was daunting and the consequences swift. It was like a switch suddenly turned on in his brain and somehow is bladder reacted telling him he was at bursting point. He didn’t even have time to beg his mother to pull over before it released, soaking into his padding. Looking down in shock he felt the padding sagging deeper and then to his horror the darkening wet patch seeping out into his shorts.
His mother turned and looked down to see her son’s diaper leaking over and soaking her car seat.
“ELLIOT MY GOODNESS.”
She quickly veered off onto the side of the road, thankfully there were no barriers here the highway had opened up into a more country stretch of road and she parked across the gravel by some trees. Elliot couldn’t stop the flow, more and more pee was pooling into his diaper and it failed miserably as it soaked all around him even getting over the bottom of his shirt as he tried desperately to stop it. When the car pulled to a stop his mother had quickly made her way around to his side of the car and she unceremoniously yanked him from his seat. He stood their looking shameful as she tended to the wet seat first, pulling a towel from her bag and trying to soak up as much of his pee as she could manage.
Shaking her head the entire time she gave up with the towel, letting it fall to the ground she fetched another and draped it across the seat. Elliot couldn’t fathom why his diaper had failed so badly, maybe because he had been wearing it for so long and been going in and out of the car with it that it had come loose at some point. He couldn’t stop his mother as she finally turned to him forcing him to strip completely till he was standing in there with his loose diaper sagging badly, one of the straps holding it having come undone completely. He fought the urge to cry as she berated him for being such a baby; she pulled off the wet diaper and used the clean part of his shirt to dry him. With no more towels packed in the bag she used another of his shirts to cover the seat as she forced him to lay down and he meekly did so as she covered his groin in cream, powdered and diapered him.
He pleaded for some clean clothing but she only gave him his last shirt to wear which did nothing to cover his diaper.
“Everything is soaked and apparently I need to be able to see your diaper at all times to make sure you have it on properly, another thing you seem incapable of doing yourself.”
He sat sullenly in the backseat of the car now that the front side had become a quarantine zone for his accident. He just hoped there were no more stops along the way; there would definitely be no hiding his diapered state from his mother’s friend now.
