Happy Easter everybody! Stay safe :)
“Come on it will be fun, I promise you will enjoy yourself and your little cousin will love the company. You’re never too old to go hunting for Easter eggs, besides I know how much you love chocolate. Just look at this cute little podge you have on your tommy, you never really lost all that cute baby fat did you! I’m just teasing you, of course you’re not overweight you’re just such a squishy boy and I adore poking and prodding you. Now please tell me you’re going to join in on the hunt otherwise I will spend the whole weekend while we’re down at your Aunts coddling you and treating you like you’re the same age as your cousin. That’s the spirit! See it’s the lesser of two evils; I want you to promise you’ll try and enjoy yourself though.
It’s not an activity for babies your cousin is a toddler now plus a lot of the other kids joining in are older too, just not quite as old as you are. Alright, I want you to put these on for me too. All the kids are wearing them, besides I want you to match your cousin. It’s just bunny ears, if you don’t cooperate I will put you in matching overalls and diapers too, I bet you wouldn’t want that huh? Although with the way you’re acting like such a whiny baby, maybe you do secretly want to be put back in a nice cosy diaper. Its ok you can be honest with me, the day care would have diapers big enough to wrap around your bottom I know they supply them to some other families with bigger kids who still need them. Just come with me and I can ask the nice lady if we can get you changed inside. Alright, I’ll stop bringing it up just go out and have fun with your cousin if you can’t find any eggs just come ask me and I can help you look.”
“Well well, who would have thought that we would find ourselves here? I did give you plenty of opportunity before the hunt to get you properly dressed but you refused. I know I was just playing around but if you really liked the idea of going back into diapers all you had to do was asked. I know that it’s an embarrassing subject and you’re supposed to be a grown up, but no matter what your age you will always be my little guy. You can keep telling me as much as you want too, scream the roof of if you have to but nothing you say will convince me this was just an accident. Someone your age should have no difficulty holding there bladder, the hunt barely lasted half an hour. You keep making up this story how some mystery stranger pushed you while you were hunched over to pick up an egg and the shock made you wet your pants. But there was no one else around when I saw you climbing back to your feet, no one except your little cousin.
It’s going to take a lot more to convince me that a toddler managed to push my grown son to the ground, and for what reason to take the egg he already managed to find more then you. I know you said you were letting him take most of them but I’m not too sure I believe that I think he was just quicker and a better searcher then you were. Ok that should just about do it; you can hop up now young man. I told you the day care would have diapers that fit you didn’t I? How convenient that they also had a changing table for someone your height that we could use. I know you don’t think you need diapers, and I agree that you don’t but it’s something you really want. That’s why you had an accident, you would rather embarrass yourself that way infront of everyone and pretending you had an accident instead of admitting that you wanted me to put you in diapers. Well don’t worry you got your wish my crinkly little guy.”
“Happy Easter baby, I’m so glad we’re here again for our annual Easter egg hunt. Last year was the start of something special in our lives. You got your crinkly diapers and I got my sweet little boy back. I didn’t realize how much I had missed changing you and watching you toddling around the house in nothing but a thick diaper until that day. You were so shy and resistant at first but my look how far you’ve come now. One year in and you don’t care who sees you wearing your diapers anymore. People were bound to notice anyway with such a thick bulge under your shorts, onesies or whatever cute clothing I decide to dress you in.
You and your cousin look adorable together by the way; I have so many great photos of the pair of you in your matching Easter outfits. The only difference is you have a much thicker bulge under yours now that your cousin has graduated to pull ups. I know to begin with you might not have needed diapers that they were just something you wanted but now that it’s been a year since the last time you used a toilet you have no control anymore. You don’t even have an expression across your face whenever I’m sitting in the living room with you. I just look over to see what you’re doing, watching you play with your toys and your diaper starts to discolour and sag while you keep focusing on your building blocks. Alright it’s time, I’ll make sure your cousin gives you a hand this year with finding some chocolate eggs, if he grabs to many I’m sure he won’t mind sharing some of his with you.”
