“Hey bro, wake up and grab your gift I’m just about finished with breakfast for mum. You know how much of an early bird she is so we gotta get to her and surprise her first. Ahhhh its mother’s day dork, her birthday isn’t for another month, what’s going on don’t tell me you forgot about it. Are you freaking kidding me…… I literally spoke to you about it two nights ago and said have you organised a gift yet and you told me it was sorted. Of course I wasn’t talking about her birthday, and even if I was you said you had it sorted so just give her whatever you had planned for her birthday and get her something else. Oh fantastic so you were lying, so you just said whatever I wanted to hear since I came in when you were playing games. We were at the store weeks ago together when I picked up my gift and reminded you to get something and you said you would come back another time. Unreal, I can’t believe how selfish you are, especially considering everything she does for us. Can’t you pull your shit together for just one day a year?
I swear you act like a real baby sometime, older brother my ass you’ve never been mature that’s why you didn’t go to college. You know what; I have an idea….. Babies don’t have to get their mothers gifts on mother’s day, they just have to be super cute and want all the attention from their mommy. Let’s have a look through your wardrobe, when I did your laundry the other day I noticed a couple of juvenile t shirts, yes this one is perfect it will still fit you for sure. You might have to stretch it a bit but it will do the job. Yes you have no say in this, it’s just a teddy bear on a baby blue shirt it’s no worse then what else I have planned. Well babies wear diapers of course, we don’t have any real ones that will fit you but I know we have some white towels in the linen cupboard and some safety pins. You just stay here for the moment and I’ll fashion something together, won’t be long BABY brother you just stay in bed and I will be right back with a fresh diaper for you.”
“This sure was a great idea wasn’t it baby brother? No I don’t plan to stop calling you that especially now that you’re in a diaper. Mom loved it so much I can safely say you gave her the better gift this year, even though technically it was all my idea I will concede to you. Her eyes almost popped out of her sockets once she adjusted to the room and saw what you were wearing, she couldn’t stop laughing! Once the initial shock wore off she pulled you straight into bed with you for a cuddle. I can’t believe how quickly she adapted to the fact you were dressed like a baby, she didn’t even hesitate when she pulled open the back of your diaper and squeezed the front to see if you needed a change. Boy that cracked us both up, your cheeks lit about like a tomato! It was great to see you so embarrassed you deserved it for almost wrecking her day, but you definitely redeemed yourself.
I give you points for creativity and sinking into the role if even it was somewhat reluctantly. Calling her mommy was definitely a nice touch but wetting your diaper, well that just takes commitment. You say it was accidental but I’m not so sure, you literally spent thirty minutes in it before you soaked it with pee and mums bed sheets. I thought she would be fuming but she couldn’t care less about doing the laundry on her special day, probably because she has her special little guy back. She liked my gift too and I think she knew I played a big part in assisting with your role but she could hardly take her eyes off you. She used to blow raspberries and tickle you all the time when you were a real baby she told me years back when we were looking through photos and she said you would soak your diaper every single time just like this morning. Maybe that’s why she did it, gives her a chance to change a diaper again, I’m sure she’s missed it. I think she is going to have a lot of fun with you today baby brother, here she comes now looks like she grabbed a couple more towels for your diaper, you do wet an awful lot.”
“The transition from towels to diapers was so quick; mum really liked her present this year. I do admit you actually look pretty cute dressed up in a diaper and onesie all snuggled in under the sheets and ready for bed. All freshly changed after what must be your seventh wet diaper today, you really did wet an awful lot. But mum was pumping you full of juice and other drinks I think she just wanted to keep you soaking your diapers so she could keep changing you. I have to say thank you for going along with it for as long as you did, I could tell you were uncomftable for most of the day but you didn’t let it show. I’m proud of you for actually coming through for her and making her day so special. I think you might of started to enjoy it by the end, you were soaking up all the attention as much as you were soaking your pampers!
I was really surprised there was a place so close by that sold diapers and baby clothing for adults so close by. Also, the fact that mum new about its existence in the first place, I know she said she had driven passed it before but it was a bit out of the way from our regular shops. She’s so happy to have her baby boy back, maybe now she will take a bit of the pressure of me she would always coddle me more then you I guess that’s because I was the youngest, in age only I might add. Anyway I just came in to say that and wish you goodnight, mum will be by in a second she’s just digging around in the cupboard for your old books so she can read you a goodnight story. It’s going to be interesting to see you toddling around the house in diapers from now on. Oh, did you not realise… I don’t think this is just a onetime gig. She bought you a case of diapers, that’s 60 of them, plus she spent a couple of hundred on a half a dozen onesies and those overalls for you. I think now that she has her baby back she won’t let you grow up a second time; this is for the best anyway you never were ready to be an adult. Just enjoy being a baby again you don’t have any pressure to do anything, soon even the pressure on your bladder will go away and you won’t even realise that you’re wetting your diapers. Goodnight baby brother!”
