Dylan sleepily opened his eyes to see his mother gently shaking him awake.
“Wake up sweetie we’re here.” Cheryl said warmly.
“W…What’s going, on where am I?”
“We’re at my place baby, I know you’re sleepy but can you be a big boy for me and take my hand. Unfortunately you’re a bit too big for mummy to carry you inside.”
Dylan groggily reached up rubbing the sleep from his eyes; he looked down seeing himself dressed only in the thick diaper wrapped around his legs. Memories of what had happened quickly flooded back and to his dismay realized he still held the pacifier between his lips. As he reached to pull it out Cheryl gently slapped away his hands and reached over undoing his seatbelt.
“Uh-uh you leave that in mister, it will help you relax.”
Dylan stepped out of the car and walked barefoot behind Cheryl toward the house. Thankfully it was dark out and the only light was from the sensor on Cheryl’s front porch. She quickly unlocked the door and turned on the passageway lights as Dylan stepped in following closely behind her.
“Come with me to the bedroom and we’ll get you tucked in.”
Dylan lagged a few steps behind Cheryl still half asleep and not fully processing what was happening around him. Once they reached Dylan’s childhood bedroom Cheryl didn’t stop so Dylan opened the door and flicked on the light switch. It quickly illuminated his room nothing much had changed from when he was still a young adult. The desk still sat in the corner next to his dresser, his posters from his favourite singers and movie stars still adorned the wall. The only thing missing was his bed, the indents in the carpet from the legs of the frame indicating it had only recently been moved.
“I moved your bed earlier today Dylan, call it a mothers hunch but I had a feeling something like this might happen so you’ll be in here with me tonight.”
Cheryl switched off the light to Dylan’s room, pulled the door closed and led him across the hall into her bedroom. When she switched on her light Dylan saw his bed parallel to hers against the wall only a meter or so separating the two beds. Much to his dismay the bars from when Dylan was a child and had problems with sleepwalking had been reattached making it look exactly like a big baby’s crib.
“I’m not sleeping in there.” Dylan said stamping his foot.
“Dylan please it’s been a long day for all of us, I know you don’t want to be spanked again so just get in and you’ll feel much better in the morning.”
A long day for everyone, Dylan didn’t remember his mother having to go through anything as traumatizing as he did. He was too tired to fight anymore and the comfy bed was looking rather inviting. Still in a semi dazed state he walked over to the crib but was stopped before he could climb in. Cheryl’s hand was pulling the back of his diaper open. He blushed and did his hardest to stop himself from crying again as a few tears rolled down his cheek once he realized to his embarrassment she was checking to see if he messed himself. She turned him around and pulled the front of the diaper open before inserting her fingers in the leg holes feeling around for any wetness.
“All dry, what a good baby.” Cheryl said giving Dylan a pat on his crinkly bottom, gently pushing him in the direction of his bed.
Dylan climbed into bed lying down so Cheryl could pull the sheets over and tuck him in. She leaned over and gave him a kiss on his forehead.
“Good night my sweet precious baby boy. I know today wasn’t very fun for you but I’ve loved having my angel back.”
Dylan looked up at Cheryl who was beaming down at him.
“Melony’s going to break up with me.” He said with trembling lips.
“Now why would you go and say something ridiculous like that?” Cheryl said her expression changing to one of concern.
“I spoke to her before we left, she’s worried about you sure, but I can safely say she’s not going to leave you. I see the way she looks at you; she loves you almost as much as mummy loves you.”
Cheryl continued playfully pinching Dylan’s cheek.
“You have nothing to worry about baby I promise, now close your eyes and get some sleep. Mummy is only an arm’s length away so if you need me just say so ok?”
Cheryl brushed her hand against Dylan’s cheek before taking a step back and raising the side of the crib up. Dylan watched her as she walked over to her wardrobe and dropped her dress as she started to get changed. He quickly turned his head and faced the wall his face flush with embarrassment. She really did see him as nothing but a toddler, acting like there was nothing out of the ordinary having her grown son lying in a crib in her room wearing nothing but a diaper and sucking on a pacifier while she changed into her nightgown. Dylan’s attention was quickly brought to his diaper and the straining on his bladder he didn’t notice before. Once the wardrobe door closed he slowly turned his head to see his mother now in her silky white nightgown.
“M…Mummmy, I need to use the bathroom.” Dylan said quietly almost as a whisper.
Cheryl smiled warmly and walked over toward him her gown clinging tightly to her body extenuating her curves. She reached a hand through the crib bars placing it over Dylan’s shoulder.
“It’s ok Dylan, I’m going to sleep now I don’t want to have to take you to the bathroom and change you. Just let go in your diaper baby that’s what it’s there for.”
Dylan’s face flushed red.
“B…But I can’t go in my d…diaper.” He stammered around his pacifier.
“I know its hard baby; here just let me help you.”
Cheryl reached her hand under the covers; she slid it down along his stomach until she had it firmly pressed against his bladder. Slowly she pushed down putting more pressure on it.
“It’s ok Dylan, babies do wee wees in their diapers all the time. Can you be a good boy and do one for mummy. That’s it just a little push and your comfy diaper will soak it all up for you and you can go to sleep.”
Dylan closed his eyes and tried to relax, much to his humiliation the words from his mother and the pushing on his bladder had the desired effect. He quickly let go releasing his bladder into his thirsty diaper. Cheryl removed her hand from his bladder and cupped it around his diaper feeling it grow warm and soggy. She continued to coo at him and stroke his hair with her other hand. ‘What a good baby boy I have.’ Were the last words he heard before he felt himself drifting off to sleep.
