“Hey there, my name is Dr. Michelle your mummy told me you’ve been having some trouble with bed wetting. Sorry I didn’t meant to come off condescending I’ve been so used to having much younger patients come in here. You’re a special circumstance normally I don’t take patients who are legally adults, even if the problem is a rather childish one but I’m close friends with one of your mothers and she said you really needed my help. So first off do you want to tell me how frequently these accidents have been? Its ok there’s no need to be shy or embarrassed I’m a professional and I’m here to help you. There’s no need to get snarky with me young man, you may be much older but when you signed the confidentiality clause it also states that if the child misbehaves I am legally able to discipline them to how I see fit.
Even if you are an ‘adult’ I won’t hesitate to put you over my knee and spank you if you continue to be rude to me, understand? Good, now please tell me how often these accidents are happening to you. That often you say, so it’s safe to say you spend more time waking up wet then you do dry. There are a few things we can try that could help, like putting your mummy in charge of your toilet habbits. It would mean we leave things up to her she would remind you when to use the potty I mean bathroom. Look I told you I normally have younger patients sometimes the more childish term slips out. There is no need to continue being so rude to me. Alright how about this, it’s a bit experimental but I can use hypnosis to try and cure it. The program goes for three sessions and you HAVE to do all three otherwise it won’t work properly understand? All I do is put you to sleep and say some subliminal words and phrases while you’re under. Then you wake up and go home sound good? Alright then let’s do it.”
“Hey welcome back, so how are things going at home. That bad huh, almost no dry nights you say. Hmmmm, that is interesting, don’t get annoyed at me. I told you that you won’t see any improvement until all three sessions are over. Those are some very cute overalls you’re wearing by the way they suit you. Did your mummy pick those out for you to wear? You asked her to get them for you how darling they make you look very smart. Did you take my advice and get some protection to wear at night time? That’s good, pull ups work fine they are for big kids like you after all. Alright get comfy and lie down while I put you into a trance again. Just look in to my eyes and watch clearly what I am saying. You’re getting sleepy…. So sleepy little boy….. It’s time for beddie byes now just close your eyes and relax.
Now that you’re asleep again I want you to listen very closely to me. Just like I told you last time it’s not nice to be rude to people is it, good little boys always behave themselves. You were rude to me again though weren’t you when you came in here today, annoyed at me because your wetting got worse. But it’s not my fault baby, you’re just too little to control yourself you can’t help it. Even now it’s hard to hold it in isn’t it well just relax baby let go for me and it will all feel better. Let all your wee wee out I promise you, once you let go everything will be better. That’s it look at you go, mummy is so proud of her little baby for doing such a big pee pee.
We have to talk about something else though, there’s a monster in the potty and hes out to get you. But don’t worry as long as you don’t use the toilet he won’t find you. Whenever you try and use the bathroom you will be afraid he will find you so just make sure you go in your pants whenever you feel the need. Don’t worry your mummy will find you something to protect you so you don’t have to go in that nasty potty……”
“Hey precious, you look so adorable in your onesie, are you ready for your final session. That’s a good boy, that pacifier is very cute and so helpful at keeping you quiet when the grownups are talking. If you want though I will let you take it out now so you can talk to me? You want to keep sucking on it? That’s fine you can just use your head to nod or shake when I ask you something ok?
Alright sweetie let’s get started, I notice the big bulge under your onesie is your mummy keeping you in diapers now? She is, that’s ok that’s where little babies like yourself are supposed to be wearing. A nice thick thirsty diaper to hold all your accidents. Although I’m not sure we can call them accidents anymore can we? Not since you don’t even make it to the potty anymore. I heard about the potty monster don’t worry, as long as you keep using your nice cosy diapers he can never get you.
Does it embarrass you having to wear diapers all the time now and suck on your pacifier? It does, that’s ok but you shouldn’t be embarrassed this is perfectly normal for you to be doing. Your mummy is very understanding, I hear she got your room redecorated for you and got you a whole new wardrobe of adorable clothes. What’s the matter, don’t cry sweetie this is what’s best for you. When you first came here you were such a rude young man and now you’ve turned into such a sweet little baby. We still have one more session left today, I promise once this one is over you won’t feel anymore shame or embarrassment. This will all feel perfectly normal for you won’t that be better? That’s right it will just relax and lie down, look into my eyes and listen to my voice you sweet, sweet little baby boy.”
