CHAPTER 2
Dylan looked across the car park unsurprised that his mother had already arrived she was always punctual. He grabbed the picnic basket and rug as the pair walked over to greet his mother who was standing by her car waving toward them. She rushed over and grabbed Melony in a big hug who returned it equally as affectionately.
“Melony it’s so great to see you again thank you so much for the invite!”
“It’s no problem at all Cheryl I’m sure Dylan would have invited you himself if he wasn’t such a scatterbrain.” Melony replied trying to offer an excuse for Dylan being so inconsiderate.
Dylan smiled and muttered his hello’s to his mother who replied back with a stale “Hi Dylan.”
“Oops I better go check I locked the car.” Melony exclaimed before quickly scuttling off leaving Dylan and his mother alone.
Dylan thought for a moment before quickly speaking up. “I’m sorry.” He started; his mother refused to make eye contact with him. “I’m sorry I don’t spend more time with you and I’m sorry I didn’t think to invite you to the park I’m glad Melony did and that you came. I probably don’t say this as often as I should but I love you.”
Cheryl finally turned and looked her son in the eye. She knew when he was being sincere; she also knew she could never stay mad at her son. “Oh come here honey, mummy loves you too.” She wrapped her arms around him and gave him a dozen kisses on the cheek. Dylan would have hugged her back to but with the load in his arms he just stood there awkwardly as his mother showered him with affection. Melony re-joined the group just in time to witness the loving display.
“So, what did I miss then?” She asked beaming.
“Just my darling son telling his mummy he’s sorry for being so distant and that he loves me.” Cheryl said facing Melony with one arm still clutched firmly around Dylan’s shoulders.
“Awww, see I always knew you were secretly a mummy’s boy Dylan.” Melony teased.
Dylan blushed as Cheryl gave him one last kiss on the cheek before releasing him and the three walked over to a nice shady spot under a tree. The spot was pretty secluded; the park wasn’t too busy today just a few families with their children running around the playground so it was a nice area out of view of everyone else. Dylan laid the rug on the ground as Melony and Cheryl started pulling out various home cooked foods and cutlery. It was a delicious spread that Melony had prepared that morning, Dylan had offered to help but Melony insisted that he leave it to her. She was always planning on inviting Cheryl to go with them behind Dylan’s back and wanted to impress her and show her that she was a good cook. Dylan wasn’t a bad cook and she appreciated that he prepared most their meals while she worked; but he would still occasionally burn stuff or under cook something here and there, sometimes use to much salt and she wanted it to be perfect. Her efforts had not gone unnoticed when Cheryl spoke up.
“Melony this all looks lovely; this must have taken you all morning!”
Melony had to try and keep herself from grinning too broadly. “Oh it was no biggie just a few things I threw together, luckily I picked up the ingredients early when we were planning to go next week so I had everything on hand.”
“Don’t be so modest, you did a wonderful job dear. I’m just sorry that I didn’t have the time to contribute much, I did manage to throw together a dozen cupcakes though.” Cheryl said feeling guilty and a little envious that she didn’t have more notice to contribute more to the picnic.
As the three sat down and began helping food onto their plates Dylan went to pour himself a drink and looked around the bags before addressing his mother. “I thought you said you would bring the cups.”
“Oh yes, silly me they’re just in here.” Cheryl replied.
She reached over into a bag which had been kept zipped up and separate from the rest of the picnic supplies resting against the tree. She produced two firm plastic cups handing one to Melony and kept one for herself placing it down beside her.
“Aren’t you forgetting someone?” Dylan asked expectantly.
“Oh you’re ready for your bottle then are you.” Cheryl asked.
Dylan and Melony watched her with confused expressions on their faces as Cheryl produced a baby’s bottle and began to unscrew the lid.
“Don’t you remember what happened last time Dylan, I told you next time I would get you something you could drink out of so you didn’t have to worry about spilling anything over your clothes.” Cheryl stated as she began to fill the bottle with the soda Dylan had originally reached for.
Melony burst out laughing “Did he really spill his drink all over his clothes.”
Dylan’s face turned a bright red.
“As a matter of fact he did, he had to sit there in his underpants while I put them through the wash! There you go Dylan no more spills.” She handed the bottle toward Dylan who refused to take it.
“Come on Dylan take your bottle there’s no need to be a spoil sport she’s just having a laugh it will teach you to be more careful. He’s knocked over more than his fair share of drinks at home to; just the other week I had to ban you taking cups on the carpet while you’re playing games because of the stain you left on the rug; which took me an hour to clean up. Maybe we should keep that bottle so you can use it at home.” Melony teased.
Dylan couldn’t tell if she was being serious or not but begrudgingly took the bottle from his mother.
“Now what do you say Dylan.” Cheryl asked him.
“Thanks.” He muttered insincerely.
“Go on then drink up.” Cheryl encouraged him.
Both she and Melony watched with amused expressions on their faces as Dylan drank from the bottle, struggling to get anything out of it. Both women laughed at his pathetic attempt.
“Not like that Dylan, you would think at your age you could manage to drink from a baby’s bottle.” Cheryl said as she made her way around the picnic rug sitting down alongside Dylan. “Here let me show you how it’s done.”
Before Dylan knew what was happening Cheryl pulled him down so that his lower back rested in her lap with his head nestled inside the crook of her arm. Dylan was about to resist and tell her to let go when Cheryl seized the opportunity and shoved the bottle down into Dylan’s open mouth.
CHAPTER 3
“Stop fussing Dylan I’m only trying to help; now come on drink your bottle. The sooner you finish the sooner I will let you get back up.” Cheryl said as she rested her other arm over his stomach trapping him like an infant.
Dylan’s eyes wandered over to Melony who was still laughing, holding her phone out and taking photos offering no solution to his plight so he reluctantly began to suck from the bottle. Immediately the cool soda began to flow out the nipple into his mouth.
“See look at that you can drink from a bottle you just needed a bit of help from mummy.” Cheryl cooed looking down at her son.
“Awwww.” Melony said watching her boyfriend nurse from the bottle. Unknown to her seeing her boyfriend in such a vulnerable position for the first time began to awaken the maternal instinct inside of her. “I can’t believe he’s actually doing it, I thought he would have put up more of a fight.” She said teasing Dylan.
“He knows better than to resist his mummy, he never argued back when he was a little boy always did what I asked him. He never really had a rebellious faze either I guess that’s why he’s so willing to do what I say; it’s still his instinct to listen to me.” Cheryl’s face was beaming.
She was clearly enjoying the renewal of their childhood ritual the same couldn’t be said for Dylan whose face was as red as a tomato. He looked up at the sky increasing his sucking pace doing his best to get the embarrassing ordeal over with. Eventually Cheryl and Melony lost interest in him and started having their own conversation ignoring Dylan as if this was the most ordinary thing in the world. That’s what concerned Dylan the most it was as if they were acting like he were a real baby and there was nothing strange at all about this whole situation. Finally after what must have been twenty minutes Dylan managed to get the last few drops out finishing his bottle.
“Oh you’re finally finished, for someone who was so eager and sucking so profusely it sure took you long enough to finish that.” Cheryl chuckled taking the bottle away and letting Dylan sit upright again. “Do I need to burp you as well?” Cheryl joked pulling Dylan inward and patting him on the back. Dylan surprised all three of them when he let out a loud involuntary belch. The women laughed and Dylan quickly retracted away from his mother.
“It was the soda.” He shyly explained. “It was all bubbly.”
“Of course honey we’re sorry for laughing, thank you for letting me nurse you like that; it was very sweet of you.” Cheryl told Dylan finally managing to stop herself from laughing. “Now then I think it’s time we ate something hadn’t you, before we start to attract all the ants. Or a big bear comes and steals our picnic basket.”
Cheryl growled gesturing like a bear with her hands out like claws toward Dylan who just looks away pretending not to notice. Melony sees it and chuckles as she helped herself to another piece of watermelon. Cheryl reaches into her bag again this time she pulls out a large white babies bib with blue trim. It has ‘Momma’s hungry boy’ embroidered on the front. She takes a step toward Dylan who retreats backward pulling himself to his knees.
“Don’t even think about it, you’ve already taken this way too far.” A wide eyed Dylan pleaded.
“But you’ve been so cooperative up until now, please Dylan I promise we won’t laugh at you anymore; will we Melony?” Cheryl asks.
Melony shakes her head. “No, not at all I promise not to laugh at you Dylan.” She says stuffing her mouth to keep from laughing again.
Cheryl is about to speak when she is interrupted as her phone starts to ring. “Oops hold that thought, sorry I won’t be a moment.” She says as she walks away to take the call in private.
Melony leans over and places her hand on Dylan’s knee.
“Look I know you’re embarrassed but can’t you see how happy you’re making your mum. Who cares if she feeds you I don’t think any less of you in fact I think it’s quite adorable.” Melony says confiding in Dylan.
“But I’m a grown man Melony, if I let her keep going who knows what comes next you don’t know my mum like I do she can get super over the top look how far she’s taken things already.” Dylan says trying to reason with her.
“Look just put up with it a bit more, no one else will see you then we can go home and I’m sure she won’t bring it up again. Please, if not for her then do it for me.” Melony pleads with Dylan.
He looks into her beautiful eyes he can hardly ever refuse his mum how is he supposed to say no to Melony especially when she looks at him that way.
“Ok fine.” He sighs. “But those pictures you took they stay between us alright I don’t want you showing your sister she already doesn’t think too highly of me.”
“Leslie doesn’t think less of you she just doesn’t know you like I do, personally I think showing her this sensitive side of yours will win you her favour but if you insist they can stay between us. Including the ones I’ll be taking of you in your bib once your mummy starts to feed you.” Cheryl says booping Dylan on the nose.
He’s about to say something when Cheryl walks back over finished with her phone call.
“Sorry about that, it was nothing important just a friend from work. So Dylan, are you ready for me to feed you your lunch now?” Cheryl asks expectantly still holding the bib in one hand.
“Fine, yes you can feed me.” Dylan says quietly while refusing to make eye contact with her.
Cheryl doesn’t say anything just starts humming quietly to herself as she takes a seat next to Dylan again. She pulls the bib in front of him and fastens the Velcro around his neck. She smiles at the camera as Melony takes a photo and begins to heap a variety of food onto Dylan’s plate. She kneels in front of him and scoops up some pasta on a fork.
“Open wide Dylan, here comes the aeroplane, vrooooom.” Cheryl says imitating an aeroplane.
Dylan reluctantly opens his mouth allowing his mother to shovel forkful after forkful of food into his mouth. Occasionally she doesn’t wait for him to swallow before shovelling in the next mouthful causing some food to smear around his mouth; so she pauses to clean the mess, dabbing his face with the bib.
“My my, such a messy eater Dylan it’s a good idea I brought you this bib isn’t it? We might just have to get some more for Melony to use at home for you.” Cheryl says condescendingly
“But who will feed Dylan his lunches while I’m at work? Maybe your mummy should stay with us so she can babysit you.” Melony teases.
Dylan just glares daggers back at her as Cheryl shoves another mouthful into him which Melody manages to catch on camera.
“That sounds like a good idea huh Dylan; would you like that? Would you like mummy to come live with you so she can help babysit you?” Cheryl asks pausing the feeding momentarily so he can answer.
Dylan realizes she paused so he could play along with their silly game so he answers.
“No thank you I’m quite capable of doing all that by myself thanks.”
“Oh my, when did my baby boy become such a grown up huh? Well if you change your mind I’m only minutes away.” Cheryl says as she finally puts the plate down.
She pulls the bib off Dylan using the clean side she wipes down his mouth. She misses a stubborn bit of pasta sauce around Dylan’s lip; so she licks the tip of her thumb and wipes it off for him.
“There we go all clean look at you. Now you’ve had your bottle you’ve been burped and fed what comes next.” Cheryl says looking at Dylan expectantly waiting for his answer.
Dylan just shrugs sick of playing along with her games.
“Why it’s time for the potty of course!” Cheryl says clapping her hands together excitedly.
CHAPTER 4
“What do you mean time for the potty, I’m quite capable of going by myself.” Dylan whined fed up with Cheryl.
“I know that silly, I just mean you should go to the toilet while we get all of this packed away.” Cheryl replies.
“I don’t even need to go right now I can wait till I get home I’m not a toddler.” Dylan pouts.
“Do you really want to risk having an accident? We’ve been here for a couple of hours now, you had a full bottle of soda and a plateful of food I think you definitely need to go you’re just being shy.” Cheryl says speaking down to Dylan with her arms resting on her hips.
Dylan thinks to himself for a moment, had they really been there a couple of hours already. He tries recalling how long it had been; then from seemingly out of nowhere he begins to feel an increasing pressure on his bladder. Maybe they had been there for a couple of hours and it was a big bottle he drank from, he starts to fidget.
“Maybe I do need to go.” He says shifting uncomfortably.
“I thought so, aren’t you lucky I said something. I’ll come with you I need to go too.” Cheryl says.
She stretches out her arm reaching for Dylan’s hand. He takes it and Cheryl helps to pull him to his feet. He goes to tug his arm away but Cheryl doesn’t loosen her grip, instead she quickens her pace swinging their arms as they walk.
“Isn’t this nice I can’t remember how many years it’s been since you last held my hand.” She tells Dylan.
Dylan remains silent focusing on keeping his arm stiff making it harder for Cheryl to swing it. She lets go of Dylan’s hand as they approach the public restrooms.
“Now are you going to be ok in their by yourself or do you need some help?” Cheryl asks him.
Before Dylan can think of a sarcastic response, he sees something whizz by. He turns in the direction the flying object came from just in time to see something huge galloping toward him. He has no time to react as the huge body crashes over him, causing him to full backwards onto his bottom. The surprise shocks Dylan so much that it causes him to lose control of his bladder and wet himself. An audible hissing can be heard as a dark spot grows over his shorts. The large dog sits in Dylan’s lap refusing to move and starts licking his face; a young woman comes running over towards them.
“I am so, so, so sorry.” The stranger apologizes profusely. “I told the kids to be careful where they play with the dog; Benny! Get off of him now!”
The Stranger pulls the large golden retriever off of a shocked Dylan, grabbing hold of him by the collar. She looks down at Dylan; her attention is quickly drawn to dark growing stain which has spread through his shorts, pooling on the grass underneath him. She isn’t sure what to say next as Dylan’s mother helps her humiliated son to his feet.
“Once again I am so sorry; ummmm…. Is there anything I could do to help?” The stranger asked sincerely.
“It’s ok these things happen no harm done just a bit of a shock for poor Dylan here I think. Unless, I don’t suppose you happen to have some large diapers in his size lying around.” Cheryl jokes trying to lighten the mood.
“Actually now that you mention it, just a minute I will be right back.” The stranger says before running off with Benny towards her family.
Cheryl rubs Dylan’s back as he just stands there limp; unable to comprehend the infantile act he just committed. After his mother’s treatment of him today this is the last thing he wanted to happen; especially in front of her.
The stranger quickly returns holding a towel she hands it towards Dylan but Cheryl reaches out and takes it from her.
“My husband’s gone to run and get something for you to wear from the car he won’t be a moment. I thought in the meantime you could use that to dry yourself with. My names Elaine by the way, sorry we had to meet this way.” Elaine tells them as Cheryl shakes her hand.
“I’m Cheryl, this young man here is my son Dylan; under any other circumstances he isn’t normally this shy so I apologize if he’s coming off a bit rude.” Cheryl says apologizing for Dylan’s silence.
“It’s no problem at all, I’ll let you freshen up and come back when my husband returns; won’t be a moment.” Elaine says finally feeling a bit less guilty about the whole situation.
Cheryl grabs Dylan’s hand pulling him into the toilets. Thankfully they’re empty; Dylan is oblivious to the fact that his mum had just led him into the women’s bathroom. She puts the towel down next to the basin and stands in front of Dylan, who has started to fumble with the button on his shorts.
“Here let me help you with that.” Cheryl says.
She brushes Dylan’s hands away and he offers no resistance as Cheryl unbuttons him and slides the wet shorts down his legs.
“Lift your legs.” She asks Dylan who rests his arms on her shoulders for support as she finishes undressing him.
She then reaches for his wet underpants and starts sliding them off too. Dylan just looks up at the celling; waiting for this nightmare to finally stop. He leans on Cheryl for balance once again as she finishes pulling them off, letting them drop to the floor with a wet plop. She grabs the towel off the basin and goes to dry him but stops.
“Looks like you got the back of your shirt wet too when you fell dear.” Cheryl says sympathetically. “Lift your arms up.” She says.
Dylan obliges and she pulls the dirty shirt off him letting it drop to the floor with the rest of his dirty clothes. Dylan stands with his arms to his side completely naked except for his shoes and socks as Cheryl starts towelling him dry. She reaches between his legs and rubs the towel against his bottom bringing it to the front. She takes care not to miss a spot as she rubs his legs up and down. To make matters even worse for Dylan she grabs his penis through the towel using her other hand to rub under it and between his ball sack. Dylan feels like he could die of embarrassment especially when he feels his penis start to twitch enjoying the attention it was getting. Finally after what felt like a life time, Cheryl seems satisfied and drops the towel on top of the rest of the clothes.
“Ok now that we’ve sorted you out, just wait here for a moment while I use the toilet before it’s my turn for an accident!” Cheryl said jokingly, shutting herself into a cubical.
