Bad Grades

You're on your way home from high school and you are regretting facing your mother. She warned you to study harder and get better grades on your last report card for the year or face the consequences. Now walking home with your report card in hand you really wish you listened to her at the time. Hopefully she goes easy on you at least you got one C this time in Drama maybe that will show her that you made some improvement. But knowing your mother and the fact that the rest of your report is covered in D grades its wishful thinking. You approach the front door to the house unlocking it with your key.
Entering the house you contemplate just sneaking upstairs to your bedroom but decide the face your mothers wrath now rather than later. You find her laying on the couch reading one of her books in the living room.
“Hey mum, I'm home.” You say rather shakily.
She takes her time finishing the page she’s on eventually looking up at you. “Hi darling, how was your last day of school?” She replies somewhat coldly.
“It was..... Fine.” You reply. “I got my report card back, it wasn't as good as I was hoping for. I promise I will do better next year.”
You offer the report card to your mother but she doesn't take it instead she sighs.
“There was almost not going to BE a next year.” Your mother replies angrily. “I spent a good hour of my time in a meeting with your principle as to why you shouldn't get held back a year.”
“B...but they can't hold me back; I won't know anyone in my classes!” You sputter.
“Luckily for you I ensured her that I would turn you around by the time school starts again and that you would spending your summer studying with me and not hanging out with friends.”
“Thanks I guess.” You reply half convincingly not looking forward to spending your summer at home.
“It's the best deal you’re going to get. Unlike you I keep my word and will do what it takes to turn you around.” Your mum puts her book down and stands up, she continues. “That's why I've decided to make some changes around here starting with your bedroom.”
She smiles looking at the confusing on your face; walks over and grabs your hand in hers leading you up the stairs. She walks you over to your younger sister’s bedroom door. You notice that the lettering on the door has changed. Where it used to have your sisters name instead says yours in bold pink lettering. Before you can ask any questions your mother opens the door letting go of your hand she steps inside.
“Do you like it? I still have a few things to move around but I think it will work nicely.”
It’s your sister’s room through and through, the only thing that has changed is she brought your bed in here and changed the sheets.
“But why is this my room now?” You ask dumbfounded.
“Because sweetie, your sister is doing such a good job in her schooling I thought if I treated you the same way I treated her then maybe you would do better.”
“But where is she going to sleep?” You ask.
“In your room of course! She happily offered to take your bedroom and give you hers in return she’s much to grown up for all this pink now anyway. Once I set up a changing table in the corner it will be perfect.”
“Why do I need a changing table?” You respond quickly.
“Because your sister used to wet the bed and like I said before, if I treat you like her then maybe you will get better grades next year.”
You can't believe what you are hearing but your mother isn't finished talking yet.
“Except your grades are so bad that I thought we should take it a step further. So even though your sister only wears night pants to bed sometimes I decided to keep you in diapers day and night. Once you show me you can improve your grades at school then we can talk about wearing big kid underwear again.”
You stand there in shock tears start to form in your eyes not wanting to believe that any of this is real.
“You don't have to worry about that for a while do you though? Six weeks of summer and then a whole semester before your first report card comes back means you will spend at least the next 3 months in diapers.”
You look at your mother sniffling; tears are streaming down your face.
“Awwwww, don't cry sweetie like I said you just need to show me you can do better at school. Trust me it won't be so bad I will take good care of my special little guy. Now come on it's time to get you in your diapers, you will get used to them before you know it."
Your mother smiles at you and extends her hand expecting you to take it. Not wanting to fight her anymore you put your hand in hers and she leads you over to the changing table for what will soon become just a part of your regular routine.
