DO NOT SUBSCRIBE THROUGH APPLE
🕑 Added 2025-02-21 16:37:35 +0000 UTCWhen you subscribe to a Patreon creator through the iOS app, Apple takes a 30% commission because the payment is processed through the App Store.
This means 30% of your payment does not go to the creator you want to support—it goes to Apple instead!
How to Avoid This Fee
To ensure your full subscription amount goes to the creator, subscribe through the Patreon website instead of using the app. Payments made on the web bypass Apple’s fee, meaning more of your money supports the creator directly.
