On Borrowed Time: Chapter 10, Pages 73-75
🕑 Added 2024-12-20 11:00:41 +0000 UTCWowie, lots of cameos! Ran close to the clock on these ones because of the sheer volume of characters I wanted to include, but I think this shoooould be most of them! Any stragglers are slotted for the upcoming montage scene, which ended up being a bit slimmer than I originally anticipated (though I did manage to make room for at least one character per patron)! If you see a little subspecies/morph note next to your character, that's just my own little headcanon for how they'd be categorized in OBT's world :)
So with that out of the way, here's the cameo list for page 73,
- Luxitone's Yew the Shiny Sylveon
- LudicrousLunatic's Shiny Delcatty
- SpookyBeagle's Beagle the Shiny Espeon
- McjFlareon's Mike Caden James the Flareon
- Halzenut15's Ribbles the Meowth
- Carbon's Seltzer the Buizel
- Gunmetal Gator's Caerus the Shiny Salandit
- [Reacted]'s Vee the Sylveon, and friend Vivi the Umbreon
- J.L. Metie's Fennekin (Galaxy subspecies)
And then for page 74 we have,
- xalesander's Alice the Braixen and Jay the Dewott
- Psype's Arlo the Sylveon
- nequ's Espeon
- PoisonEbony666's Nyx the Ninetales
- starblandd's Kiara the Litten
- Springear's Nari the Eevee (Kitsune Subspecies)
- Rocket's Rocky the Eevee (Hellhound Subspecies)
- Mixedrandomj's Misdreavus
- Starf's friend's Luxray
- MoonPaw's Team Mirage, with Lilly the Skitty (Progenitor Subspecies) and Echo the Zorua (Albinism Morph)
- DeadPixels' Grovyle (Autumnal Morph)
- RokaVoros' Roka the Zorua (Crossfox Morph)
- GenoZaHero's Vulpix

You know, the fact Nyx is an aspiring mage wanting to get her tome signed works so well with Dusknoir's wizard look XD I did not expect it, but I dig it~

Oooo Charon's got the eye thing! Very interesting... On another note, I didn't expect to ship these two birds, but honestly? I could see it working for them. Also! Beautiful character work as always. It's impressive to get so many unique portraits in a shot without making it look too busy.
Luxitone
Thank you again for drawing them! A friend excitedly sent me a dm once they saw the page haha

Meanwhile I'm noticing the two toned eyes that Charon has...

oooh, i love the portrayal we're getting of dusknoir so far! i think it's interesting how big and relatively round his eye is, makes him come across as friendly and approachable - i also really love the subspecies headcanons you have, as well as the mention of morphs too! really cool stuff this update
DeadPixels
I’m really happy with how the cameo turned out! Thanks so much!
