Spiral Clicker 0.04 - Patron Release
🕑 Added 2019-01-13 03:46:26 +0000 UTCI've wrapped up Spiral Clicker's update today to have the public release on the 20th, when AH would normally update. Until the port is finished, I will keep doing the Spiral Clicker updates on AH's usual schedule.
Some good news on the AH port; apparently, the new engine is going to be easier to build dialogue trees in, so that might hopefully make it a bit faster to write new scenes when I get back to adding content to it.
In the meantime, here's what's new in this version of Spiral Clicker:
- Janis added to game. (Reach lvl 100 with Crystal to unlock her)
- 5 CGs added for Janis.
- Cassie added to the game.
- 5 CGs added for Cassie.
- 10 pearls by default are now gained at total lvl 1000, with 1 extra pearl per 100 levels above that.
- Each summon costs 5 pearls, and cost grows by 5 each summon.
- Unlocking the Library now costs 5 pearls.
- Formulas rebalanced for willpower generation and upgrade cost.
- Upgrades Shop added to College Campus. (Not microtransactions; upgrades via pearls earned in-game)
- 3 upgrades, with 2 tiers each added to Upgrades Shop.
- 3 scenes added for Tammy.
- 4 scenes added for Amber.

Okay cool, I wanted to know before I spent on them, cause if they didn't carry over it would be kind of a waste.

The pearl upgrades carry over into new resets.

Do the upgrades in the new shop carry over after resetting to get pearls, or are they wiped like the click and spiral upgrades are?

The download link isn't working . I've been trying it for days now with no luck. I can get to the webpage, but when I click "Download" I get a blank "Unable to connect" page.

Thanks very much! That's helpful.

If you are downloading it, you should be able to put it into the same folder with the same name to get the same saves to work. If that doesn't work, or if you are playing via the web version and are moving to a new web version, the game uses .sol saves, so you can do a search for .sol to find the save folders the game uses. the folder should be named something involving the game's title, Spiral Clicker. Copy the older saves, and then paste them into the folder for the new saves and it will make your old saves carry over.

Is it possible to transfer saves from one version to another? I am way into the previous build, and I really don't care to go through all that again. Does this update make things less tedious?
