Changes to Letterbox Club: A Small Change
🕑 Added 2024-11-12 11:31:14 +0000 UTCPatreon have introduced some mildly annoying changes. Moving forward, I will now be sending out each month's rewards at the end of the month rather than at the start.
UK Members: please expect to receive your November rewards in the first couple days of December.
International Members: please expect to receive your November rewards in the first week of December.
If you are an existing member, nothing will change to the way you pay. The only change affecting you is that the rewards will now arrive later.
Why?
I used to be able to charge everyone on the same day but they've taken that function away. Now I receive some people's subscription fees scattered all over the month. This makes it really hard to keep track of which people's rewards have and haven't gone out. So I'll send them out at the end of the month when I have everyone's name on the list.
The most annoying part
The rewards will no longer be a surprise (unless you ignore the spoilers email!) This makes me sad because I liked the idea of surprise mail. Alas, I have to promote the rewards to hopefully engage new members (sorry, Patreon pays my rent!)
I just wanted to reiterate how grateful I am to be able to run this club anyway. It already feels insanely amazing to be able to do art for a living but you allow me to do MY art for a living?!?! like wow.
