That's definitely a part of it! There are some actual benefits to cutting out all that overstimulation and dopamine flooding, but placebo definitely plays a part in some of the benefits I've heard hehehe

Those "benefits" they report are placebo effects. They think they have those benefits because before hand they were TOLD they'd get those benefits!
