I Love Men

I was thinking about men and why I’m still drawn to men (in a romantic and sexual sense) in spite of all the harm men have caused me throughout my life. As much as I wish I was attracted to women, that’s just not how I’m wired at all.
Indulge me for a moment as I express how this longing and affection feels to me…
The way a man feels… his soft, warm skin. The texture of his hair on his body. How it feels to run my fingers along the curves from his neck down his arms to his fingers.
A man’s chest and how I feel resting my head there. The way he smells… hearing and feeling his heart beating under my cheek and hands.
A man’s arms… I always notice his arms. I love strong arms around me, but also watching how he uses his arms and hands in life. Working, carrying, reaching, holding, lifting, resting…
The way a man’s body moves. The way his body reacts to my touch. The way he walks. How he looks when he’s resting. The warmth of cuddling up next to him and feeling his body around mine.
His smile that lights up the room. His laugh… when a man I love laughs I feel so happy and connected.
Watching a man care for children, whether they’re his own or not. The gentleness, protectiveness, care, concern, compassion, selflessness.
The way a man ages. Those beautiful lines around his eyes when he smiles. The flecks of gray that begin appearing. The fine lines that reflect a lifetime of emotion on his gorgeous face.
The sound of his voice. The way he speaks… gently at times, stronger and louder at others.
The soft skin of his back that I love to feel and run my fingers over when he’s holding me.
The way his expressions change when he’s turned on.
The way a man looks at me when there is connection and passion between us.
Watching a man experience pleasure, of all kinds. The way he grins and reacts to delicious food. That beautiful intense expression on his face and the way he sounds when he has an orgasm. How he relaxes when I rub his back or his feet.
The happiness on his face when watching someone else succeed or achieve a goal.
Seeing how he pours his efforts and passion into his work or hobbies and enjoying the results.
When a man like this looks at me and finds something special in me… I melt.
Men: I hope you know you are so incredibly amazing and your life is beautiful and valuable.
