Today would be my dad’s birthday. These days are hard to describe.
Sending love to all who know this kind of loss and the strange mix of feelings these type of sad milestone days bring.

I got my ear pierced when I was 18, not long after Air Force basic training, 28 years ago. Basically an impulsive move because I’m 18 and can do basically what I want now. Why do we exvangelical church kids do random rebellious things when we finally get some freedom?
