🕑 Added 2023-06-28 19:07:20 +0000 UTC2021 and 2022 were terrible years for me. Many good moments and positive changes, but also some of the worst things I’ve ever had to face. All the times of intense pain and serious trauma wore me down in every way; my hair fell out, my weight yo-yo’d, either couldn’t sleep or couldn’t stay awake, I lashed out inappropriately at times, I couldn’t keep up with my work and often couldn’t get bills paid on time or at all, I trusted the wrong people out of desperation, my skin broke out in rashes from stress, and on and on and on. In many ways I’m still picking up the pieces, especially financially. It will take some time to recover.
But I’m healing.
It’s slow and there are setbacks, but I’m improving. When faced with challenges or painful things recently, I’ve been able to see the progress I’ve made and can lean on the supports I’ve put in place over the last 18 months.
Thank you to everyone who is always asking. Yes, I’m starting to feel better. I don’t know what’s next, but I feel more confident that I can face it.

Kudos to you for your progress and healing, coming out of such difficult times. I understand the difficulty of starting anew and how stressful it is. You have my respect.
