Radiohead - Myxomatosis (Drum Pattern No. 141)
🕑 Added 2025-01-20 19:41:42 +0000 UTCThis is my drum pattern transcription in the style of "Radiohead - Myxomatosis". One hell of a rhythm - it's in 4/4 but it has a very polyrhythmic feeling. We had to google what "Myxomatosis" means though. Can't recommend. Especially not for Beatbunnies. We took the risk anyway and made an 808 version out of it :)

Hi Johnny, yes you're right - there's a lot of variation happening throughout the song. In the past we found that in order to keep a transcription useable and manageable for drum machines it often doesn't make sense to include all freestyled variations, so we'd rather go for a streamlined functional version that captures the essence of the beat :)

You should add the breakdown at the end, especially the rides. I can send you the pattern if you like. Thereโs lots of variations on almost everything all throughout this song as well. It took me 11 patterns to be satisfied. Almost all of them 64
