Scene editing 1/3 complete
I significantly punched up one of the three main scenes I wasn’t happy with. Some parts that weren’t landing were cut or rewritten; a lot of dialogue was tightened up to make the NPCs more believable and consistent; a totally new nude/CFNF scene was added to spice up a section that was just too long and procedural (I think it’s really hot 🥵); a section that felt like a grind was fixed by adding a new gameplay mechanic and making some passages (which exist just to give background story/lore) optionally skippable. The whole thing got some tightening up for logic and characterisation and pacing: I’m happy with it.
The new nude scene requires some wardrobe adjustments for our illustrator lovely Victoria (who has been working on avatar art), so I’ll get those specced out right after this report and add them to her workload 😬
I also did some work on polishing skill checks and implementing placeholder code but I can’t mark those tasks finished yet. My priority for this week will be editing the other two scenes which need to be brought up to scratch.
Why are you editing instead of just releasing
I tried to touch on this in the Discord last week, (come join in if you aren’t already, we have the coolest people).
The reason people like Female Agent is because of all the editing, they’re what it takes to get it up to its normal standard.

Bad news for you. Lobsterman finished his other game and now he continues his parody version of your game. Lobsterman isn't exactly the fastest writer, but somehow i'm sure he will finish his version of the game before we even see a playable demo of your version. I mean, i am a patreon, right? Someone who is not a patreon has access to NOTHING and i as a patreon have access to NOTHING too. So please tell me: WHY THE FUCK DO I EVEN PAY YOU? FOR WHAT?

Yes there was a whole thing about that like a year ago. If you can scroll back that far in patreon. Or at least I believe there was.

I hate to join the growing vocal criticism here but I do agree with what others are saying here, the whole point of subscribing to the patron is gaining access to what the public doesn't have access to, primarily that means unfinished beta content. If we wanted to wait until everything was perfectly polished and completed before playing we wouldn't be subscribed, we would just wait until the general release. It's clear the majority here agree: release SOMETHING

Not sure if this has been answered before, but is there a plan to add other skin tones including dark skinned heroines?

Great work! Game is very polished and great because of it. But don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good. Keep at it, rooting for you!

Crush, the reason people subscribe on Patreon isn't to see/get finished products, but rather to support an artist while they work on their process to create a finished product. We are looking to be PART of that process. No one is expecting you to release an unedited version and thinks it will be just as good as your final edited version, but we want to SEE the unfinished ourselves. We LIKE that it's unfinished. Some people maybe didn't like the unfinished big MAC release you did a while back, but some DID! Please don't take away OUR choice to play an unfinished beta just because some people didn't like it or because you think it's actually a "burden" to play. I've said it before and I'll say it one more time: please release ALL unfinished work or post the project somewhere where we can play anytime should we (patrons) want so we can enjoy the process for ourselves.
