Update/Preview 69 XD
🕑 Added 2020-03-08 05:55:40 +0000 UTCWellp. We did it. I feel like I made it. We can all go home now, pack it in, I’ve peaked. We hit the magic number, ladies and gents. Update 69. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
To celebrate have a preview of the next Self Insert Dark chapter. It’s coming along nicely. I’m making this post now, because I’m still off work and I’ll end up totally forgetting without my regular schedule to remind me in the morning.
And welcome to the new Patrons! Make sure you check out the archives for all the exclusive content, and please consider joining us on Discord! It’s great fun! We do a lot of streaming sessions where one of us will play something and we’ll just kinda shoot the shit in a voice call over top, and it’s a lot of fun.
So, I know I said I’d get some writing done over the last week, especially with my time off work, but I should really know better by now. As always, like every other goddamned time, my dental work got infected. I don’t know why this happens every fucking time, maybe I sleep with my mouth open, I don’t know. What I do know is that most of the last week is a haze of drug induced stupor and sleep deprivation, because god forbid the throbbing lets up any longer than the four hour lifespan of the painkillers. TLDR: I suffer and didn’t get nearly as much work as I’d have liked done. Oh, don’t get me wrong, I’ll have no problems hitting the monthly targets, but I was hoping for better.
I did, however, use this time to some advantage. I beat Persona 5, finally. ‘Last dungeon’ my ass, there was still ten hours left after that bitch... I also started and finished the story mode for Sonic Forces. It was pretty fun, but I’m disappointed that you didn’t get to play as the other characters, too (and Blaze wasn’t in it at all! What the hell, Sega!?). Out of boredom I started a NG+ file on Persona 5, but I actually really do not dig the early game of P5, so I’m thinking of moving to something else. Phantasy Star Generations 1 & 2 are both fully fan translated, so they’re right at the top of the list... and I’ve had Yakuza 0 sitting on top of my PS4 for a month now, too. I should start planning my free time better.
Out of curiosity, I also tried playing the fabled beast that is Sonic 06. It made me regret all my life choices. Five minutes in and I had already come to the conclusion I’d wasted my $5. Twenty minutes in and I was in physical pain. God is laughing at me. It gets worse the longer I think about it. I... don’t really wanna talk about it. *shudder*
That’s really about it from me this week. Not a lot happened. I mean, I could talk about the crazy dreams the ridiculous amounts of painkillers I’ve been taking have been giving me, but I do wanna finish this chapter tonight. Look forward to more updates and stuff, and thank you all for another month of support! Nagaspeed, friends!
