Check the latest post. Fusion updated the storage system which broke the links. I’ve update on the latest post.

Armando Lopez Torreblanca

I can't access any of the links!

TerryBair

I have become a member but unable to access any files. What do I need to do?

Kevin Dunlap

I’ve upgraded to the $14.50 tier sir, just trying to support and I’m sorry I need help. Was in the hospital again, trying again from scratch to get started.

Kevin Dunlap

Ive upgraded to the 14.50 tier sir

Kevin Dunlap

I just tried the latest post links, the “one drive/360” files only give me the restricted notice?

Rhyder Peterson

I printed parts of the dome, the top panels, and the hinges for the top panels. It seems as though the hinges for the top panels interfere with the dome when I put them together. Is there a solution to this?

Gino Lehmann

Hello, I can't access any of the links!

Michael Baddeley

Check the latest post for the new links, unfortunately Fusion changed the storage, so I’ve had to republish all the links in the latest Patreon post

John Abercromby

Hi, I get access forbidden when trying any of these links?

Joeblack

Hi Sam, can you point me? I accesed the onedrive but havent found split version of MK4, I have read several places but no success. Thanks

Paratech911

I used the free Meshmixer program to open the downloaded complex cut MK4 files. It has a way to separate each file separately. It gives each part a number. When you scroll over the number that particular part lights up on the whole dome.

Paratech911

I apologize if this has been asked before or if I am asking in the wrong spot. Where can you find the body files for the MK4 R2D2? Is the dome for this one the same size as the other previous versions? Is the lazy susan for the MK3 the same size as the MK4?

Paratech911

Are there any instructions or videos at all for the MK4 R2D2 dome files? I printed all of them already and thought I would be able to find some form of instructions or videos to put them together, but have yet been able to do so. I saw stuff for the previous versions , but this one has a lot more parts.

Hey David: I'm new too and it is indeed a bit confusing. Go to the "Membership" section here: https://www.patreon.com/c/mrbaddeley/membership There is a brief description that's worth a read but the .stl files are assorted in the following OneDrive: https://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=%21AM9BJAkdDGE5rbA&id=E84CB8FD47152532%2136850&cid=E84CB8FD47152532 Hope this helps I'm still trying to locate everything also

Sam Beskur

ahh I found them . sorry for the stupid question

Sam Beskur

Are there .stl files available somewhere?

David Mago

Hello, I'm David, from Valencia-Spain. I just entered patreon and I would like to know where I can find the files to print this R2D2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_6GujxEhhU&t=570s Thank you very much 😊

Michael, I have just joined your Patreon and am basically starting on my R2D2 adventure. I have a 500mm x 500 mm printer and am looking to make a one piece dome print. I suppose go for the Mark 4? I am a bit confused with what ring parts are needed, etc? Do you happen to have an assembly view that shows all of the required components that would help me out?

Karsten

Sorry, but I found the appropriate files. But I'm sure I'll get in touch here more often.

Karsten

Hello, I'm from Germany and I'm new here and have decided to print an R2. I print with a Bambu Lab X1C. I have found the appropriate stl files for the Dome, but not the individual stl files for the Boddy yet. I'm also still very much at the beginning of using Fusion 360, where can I get all the STL files that I can use to make the parts on my printer? Excuse my amateurish language, my English is not very good.

Jack

The R2D2 MK4 Complex Dome, it has slots which look like to put some printed fixings in and some that look like two circles connected, where can I find the fixings? Thanks!

Blake Bourque

I found it can take a LONG time for some of the fusion files to load. Give it time. (potentially Hours)

Blake Bourque

What is the difference between the Complex and Simple cuts?

Bo McDonald

Links not working?

Ludo Bruxelles

Link Ave no files??

Ludo Bruxelles

Hello I can't open fusion file mr baddeley pass don't work for me help pls😑

Rick Peterson

sorry no one answered but the best answer is start with the mark 3 parts and use what ever head you like or you can choose a more simple design like the mk 7 body also can handle the other heads. warning this can get crazy but its alot of fun. and reach out on facebook or even myself ill help if i can

Make-o-Rama

Thanks a lot for the response

Rick Peterson

yes

Darren Campbell

Where is the main archive? All I can see is a link to the full 3d fusion droid.

Robert Ripple

that is a no to selling. All files are free to do whatever you want to with (except selling or making money from them, as many Bothans died to bring us this information!).

Mark Henkel

Link has no data …

Archmage1123

Just wanting to check cause i didn't see this mentioned and wanted to confirm in case i missed it: is it okay to sell assembled droid or no?

Lee Walker

Does this mean that we need to open the fusion file, identify the part that is needed and then download each bit? I can identify one bit but whenever i download it downloads the whole dome.

Troy Woodman

Sweet Thx U!

Marcos Gabriel

Same here. I assume you have to download each and every file and then, hope that you can find all the parts. There is no part list & quantity on such a big project

Derek Matthews

can someone link the main place to download this

Troy Woodman

Now if I could only get a response from Astromech....ERRRR!

Troy Woodman

Thank you for the response

Jens Larsson

Try the Facebook group. The Patreon comment fields are rather stale.

Jens Larsson

Yes, I think so. Worst case you need some simple adapter. The final look and size should be the same.

Jens Larsson

This is the Fusion 360 cad file repository. The password is listed in the post above: "mrbaddeley". Go to the main archive for the STL files. You probably want the "Prusa cut".

Kelley Gallagher

no help i guess ....

Kelley Gallagher

how do i go about getting all the correct parts for r2d2 ?? im new ita a bit overwhelming lol

Make-o-Rama

Are the MK3 Body and the MK4 Dome compatible?

Troy Woodman

keeps asking for password

Troy Woodman

I also have a ender 3. Looking for files for R2 MK3-up? .stl files

Elke

Hello. Are there .stl files for the MK$ stuff?

Davyd Atwood

There isn't a Mark 2. Did you mean Version 2? The Version 2 files were created in CAD123, not Fusion. The CAD123 files are posted at: New Patreon > Main Archive > Astromech > Older & Incomplete Designs > 123d designs. If you meant the Mark 3 Prusa Cut, which would also fit on an Ender 3, the readme there says that design was created by Michael Whitely, not Mike Baddeley, so I suspect Mr. Baddeley doesn't have those Fusion files. If that's what you're after you might want to reach out to Michael Whitely; his contact info is in the readme for the Mark 3 Prusa Cut.

Patrick Hankamer

If you're doing copy/paste, it sometimes copies a little space at the end of "mrbaddeley" that you need to delete first.

Wiets Fouche

Hi Mr Baddeley could you please post the link to the fusion files for the MK 2 R2D2 to be printed on an Ender 3

labmixz

The `mrbaddeley ` password isn't working for me :|

Lewis wight

Thanks, these files are amazing! My son and I are building the MK4 head. What body should we use? Will there be a MK4 body or would an older body attach to it? Any advise or direction would be greatly appreciated!

Rick Peterson

Look at the about page

Rick Peterson

its under main archive ,astromech, print files, r2 single print dome

Luc dage

awesome thanks Gary!

Gary anderson

Try the v2 version of the body it should be cut for smaller printers. I would also recommend his discord or facebook as more people answer questions there.

Paul Houston

Plenty of support in the Facebook group, from Mike and many others. He isn't very active on Patreon, too busy creating the good stuff!

José Marcello Lopes

I realize that we post questions and don't get answers, from what I understand the fact of paying in addition to having access is also to have support, am I correct???

Luc dage

Hi, I can't seem to find R2 body in smaller cut. I'm new at 3D printing and having issue cutting a bigger piece. If ever anyone can point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated TIA

DANO

I found the files. Look at the about page

DANO

I am in the same spot. I have found a video on YouTube by RP Reallity of which files will be the most help. I have not beem able to find these Onedrive files either. Have you heard back from Mr. Baddeley yet?

Jason Seng

hi i am wanting to print the r2 version but i dont know how to or what to do with the dome to slice it and print it. Is the rest of the r2d2 here also all i can find are the domes?

k1tt_Chris

Are there STL versions of those files available for download on the Onedrive yet, if they are I can’t find them. Thanks in advance.

Walt Powell

Can you share an STL version of the MK4 Pies without the circular base supports? I'd like to resin print them and I couldn't manage to remove the circles in Tinkercad. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Jimmylou

Hello! I’m new on this and i’m looking for some help! Where i can find the indivudual stl of the R2 dome in large pieces?

David Holguin

Password not working for me

HAMMARS 801

Hello Baddeley, I just started going through the MK4 Complex Model and realized there are a few model parts blocked. Panels: 9, 12, 2infill, 3 (1) (1), 2 (1), 14, and 1.

Jason Seng

Would love a folder with the STLs for the MK4, unless it's already been created.

Trying to find file for r2 d2 complete

Carlos Diaz

i cant get the password to work can you please help me ?

Lorenzo Dal Col

This is amazing, thank you very much. For the people (like me) who are right now in the process of starting to print the first pieces (I was planning to use Mk3), could you hint at what improvements/direction Mk4 is going to take for the body? That may inform us whether we should wait or go ahead with Mk3

Jens Larsson

Wonderful! There is another post with links to all mini builds. I'm still looking for the Fusion files for the MiniMouse on that. I want to add magnets to the top shell and it's certainly easier with the CAD files than the STL files.
