If the Palace is rockin', don't come knockin'? :D

Heartwarming =)

Master Zen

Thanks for the chapter! Liu Jin finally starts to assemble his council, he no longer stands alone.

Tabac Iberez

Here's hoping that Jin realizes that he's got his own fairies to make him wiser and more whole a person, and that their contrasting viewpoints make them more powerful. More importantly, Shuang, you are married and have lots of free time right now. Time to make the heavens ring!

BelligerentGnu

At last, Shanghai says something sensible.

cinnamon roll?

kenlon

Yes, but without Meng Yue, they'd only need two.

Swiss Jeez

Aw, I wish we had seen the beginning of Feng Hao's training, but I still hope we have time to see a lesson at some point. I want to see more Teacher Jin.

ArranWuyin

"There are Five Fairies because together they make up one wise person "… > 😂

If my guess about the Renegade realm is correct, there's a good chance that Jin's clique will be able to close that gap quite a bit. (Short version: rushing through Renegade like they do on 'our' side effectively prevents cultivators from properly maturing.) And/or he's going to win himself allies from the other side by being himself in their direction.

Xianxia flirty fights must be a hell of a thing, thinking about it.

> “Surely, I can stay until we reach the capital? One could say it is my duty to ensure that you reach your destination safely, Your Majesty.” Good to see Lei Kong again, but I'm actually more interested in what Lei Cheng is doing. He was gaining clue the last we saw, and I want to know if it stuck. > Though the three Black-Winged Imperial Eagles have not been together since they were eggs, they seem to instinctively understand the bond between them. D'aww. (I wonder if Soaring Feather and Talon each think the other is a butthead. :D) > “Things have changed,” he says, holding her hand close and kissing it. She blushes cutely. Making the cinnamon roll happy is good civilization. > “Where is the staggering worry you showed at the tournament?” He asks her. “It has been quelled by your actions. Now, it is just normal worry,” she replies. Good to see she didn't hold on to her mistrust of his abilities. Of course, now he has to live up to it. . . > “Did you just throw a snowball at me?” Yes, yes she did. It won't be the last time, I wager. > “You claimed me,” she points out. This time, he is the one who blushes at the phrasing. Spicy cinnamon roll. > “You took me into your word, yet you still seem to think your decisions are the only ones that matter. We are here. All of us. Are we not? If you make a mistake, why do you think we’ll remain silent? If you fail in some way, why do you assume our actions will be unable to make up for it? Reconsider, husband. Your path and mine are now joined.” 1) 'word' should be 'world' 2) this isn't something he's going to get past easily - it's good that his crew are there to thump him upside the head when he needs it. A fun breather chapter. I still want those interludes about Song Daiyu and Lu Mei's reaction to the finals match, though. Interestingly, I don't feel the need for one from Su Daji, since her talks with him before and after made it clear enough.

Cynical Pasta

This was a lovely and cozy chapter, you have my appreciation

Awww, thank you for the chapter. There’s nothing like a flirty therapy session

Guy

I think an interesting question to consider is how will Liu Jin compensate for the immense difference in cultivation between the 2 sides especially since he doesn't have anyone like Old Jiang as a deterrent. His best protection is a divine shadow but even those can be circumvented by clever and powerful enough enemies.
