This Week's Chapters (September 22, 2025)
🕑 Added 2025-09-22 11:00:13 +0000 UTCI had to buy a gift the other day, so I went to the mall. Turns out they still exist. Also, they had an arcade which I was very tempted to try out because there were never any arcades around where I grew up, but that's not what this is about.
I was walking around when, suddenly, I see this huge line. Like, super long with all sorts of people in it. Naturally, I had to find out what it was about. What could possibly draw such a large and varied crowd.
It was the line to get into the Apple store.
Why? Seriously, why? You don't need the latest iphone, people. It sucks even as a status symbol. Plus, do you have any idea how much Apple sucks. Do you know how many times Patreon has contacted me because the android store was being a bitch? Never. But it has certainly done so about the Apple store.
That's not even getting into the time when I actually had to sell the damn phones, but we don't talk about that. We never talk about that.

You dont know the half of it. Patreon charges like double sometimes it seems even triple of what creators actually wanna charge

I have an s22+ I bought a few years ago. It works fine. Until it explodes I have no plans to upgrade. Same with my 2007 Honda. Buying new when your old thing works fine is a suckers game.
