I think you're still gonna do great on platforms like DLSite and won't really need Steam Sales. Plus, some might feel hesitant to buy porn games on Steam.

Steam is extremely strict with any characters that look even just a little young. I don't think there was ever much hope of getting the game accepted on Steam, to be honest... Please take the time you need to recover, if you can. You put a lot of time and effort into your game, and update extremely regularly. People will understand if you need some extra time to recover.
