We got into a few different types of questions plus a little political talk and we spent a good amount of time on one particular issue that we weren't really able to solve directly. I find that there are a lot of issues like that going on in the world that really shouldn't be happening but also I don't have any power to do anything except encourage the victim to be a lot louder about needing help. It's frustrating that humans behave in that way - they set up services to help people and then don't really do it because of... I don't really know what reason.

First story is wild from the little I know about Islam perspective. Thereβs rulings on divorce that guard this hot/cold behaviour. My knowledge is π© but curiosity exists to understand boundaries from a religious pov.

I highly recommend the "Knock Em' Dead" series of books by Martin John Yate. They are by far the best "how to get a job" books out there. They have helped me tremendously.

IDK man. It feels more like indifference. Like, What negative consequence could come from confronting guys like that? What's he going to do? record a TikTok saying "Huh these evil people don't let me stalk girls". I might not live in the same city, but I wanna reach out to that girl and say call me we'll protect you. We'll look out for you.

That's probably the one thing in life that I'm the worst at. I'm good at explaining things I know, and I know about: politics philosophy psychology sex + dating communication health + fitness If I could get a job, I would have been too busy at it to do this.

IMO it's most likely because "no good deed goes unpunished" and we live in a world where bad people can do bad things and they're the victims and when good people stop them they're evil oppressors.

I'm enraged with the girl being stalked story. WTF is wrong with people? We had guys like that in the town where I live. Everybody in the community would've looked out for that girl. We would've stepped in front of that guy and made sure he got the message not to mess with any girl or else. Why are people not doing that?

I realized we need a chart/video explaining job hunting. I've done it from entry level to senior engineer, and it's like a psychotic blend of your zones dating chart. Got any charts that can help us make sense of it?
