Lauka Vai - Part 1- The Preshading Technique
🕑 Added 2021-06-16 10:58:56 +0000 UTCHi Folks,
here is the first chapter of Lauka Vai - Mother of Nightmares, one of the most stunning releases of the new Vampire line from Games Workshop.
We will be using a technique that I haven't been showing before, we will be using the so called pre-shading technique to introduce the initial light situation to a complex figure/monster.
For this Technique we will be first introducing the various base tones to our model, and then continue with a light glaze dusted over the whole model with the airbrush!
This is a fantastic way to be able to highlight all the tones with out worrying about overspray or the time consuming step of masking a complex model like this!
I hope you enjoy this video and as always...
Thanks for your support!

its a harder and steenbeck evolution, and I have sprayed with a little more than 2 bar pressure.

What airbrush set up do you currently use Ben? :-)

Thanks alot:) yeah, will do that. Saw a movie from painting class and he said Schmincke is the best regarding loading brush. Keep on rocking those colours;)
