SR6 PTFE Receiver Features and Build Video

Commonly used with 3d printers, called bowden tube. You probably shouldn't cut your printer's bowden tube for this.
This zip contains:
1 PTFE Cut Jig: 27point4mm PTFE Cut Jig.stl
2 Body versions: Body No Nut.stl and Body Nut.stl
1 Base: Base.stl
3 Bumper versions: Bumper Full.stl, Bumper Small Cutout.stl, and Bumper Large Cutout.stl
2 Ring Gear options: Clip Ring No Tab.stl and Clip Ring Tab.stl
I design around 0.2mm layer height and 0.4mm nozzles. Many other configurations may work, but if you have issues, I recommend trying the above. Print on the smoothest build surface you have available, glass or PEI sticker is ideal.
I recommend PLA for all of these parts except for the Clip Ring gear. PETG appears to be superior for the drive gear and ring gear if you are able to print it, but PLA is fine.
The bumper is optional but HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Attaching it with superglue or epoxy then lightly sanding it (if necessary) gives the receiver a much more comfortable feel.
My versions of the clip ring are optional, the stock one works fine. Mine is less likely to touch the gears to the PTFE tubing, and one version has a clip that makes it easier to remove the toy case after adding a bumper.
You are responsible for your own safety. You are forcing plastic twice the temperature of boiling water out of a robot to make parts for another robot that will be manipulating the one human genital you will ever have. Keep that in mind and be careful.

The full bumper is easily my favorite, I don't see much point in a notch to get the case out, but some might. Having the whole toy be smoother is great. I went for no tab on the clip ring, because my case comes out of it relatively easily, and I didn't want a protrusion even if small. I figure it's better to fiddle with the case for a few more seconds. SR6 beta is coming so I'm sure there will be changes anyway in a few months.
Hey, so I'm thinking I'll print the 'nut' body, but I don't really know the pros/cons of the others. I'm happy to just take your word for it, what is your preference?
