I miss the feeling of “home”, where I could arrange everything, create the comfort that I want for myself.
For some reason I never had this feeling, maybe because I just don’t remember, or maybe in reality. It was turbulent during my childhood, which is why I now devote a lot of time to working through my psychological traumas, as much as my awareness and the help of my partner are enough. And gradually everything gets better, but sometimes I feel sorry for this time that I could spend on something other than greasing the gears in my head. Undoubtedly, without the current path in life, I would not be who I am now and I appreciate what good things are happening now thanks to my efforts and the support of my loved one.
So, about the feeling of “home”. All my adult life I have lived in rented apartments and there is nothing wrong with that if you have confidence in the future that you will live in this city or country for many years. In this case, I would have a desire to arrange everything in my own way. But 2.5 years ago we moved from the city where we lived, because we could no longer stay there, and now a similar desire has arisen again. We want to live a calmer and more comfortable life, and the current place does not correspond very well to this, it’s not bad here, but there is no desire to be content with this for the rest of our lives.
Changing your place of residence, even to improve your quality of life, is stressful. I hope we can cope with this and everything will become even better and there will be a feeling of “home” and a desire to create comfort.
These are a few of my experiences that I decided to share. Everything is fine, I think everything will be fine, the main thing is to put every effort into this, into your dream.

"I feel sorry for this time that I could spend on something other than greasing the gears in my head." ==> I can very much relate to that feeling, I've wondered often enough myself what else/what more I could have accomplished or perhaps just 'done' (without it having to be a real accomplishment). But it is what it is, and as long as we're moving forward, it's positive. Hypotheticals will have to remain just that, hypotheticals.
