Here's the complete update! Instead of delving into getting cooperative hunting, I've added different functionality such as fleeing from battles and adjusted monster stats depending on your difficulty settings, but the NPC Candidates are already capable of hunting for monsters on their own. It might still be a bit hard, especially if you went for a social build, so considering buffing yourself up in the baths before going on a trip to the swamps.

This update isn't quite ready yet as there are new mechanics that still require some extra work, but I'm publishing an incomplete version to ask for your feedback on the features that are already finished. I'm also including the patch notes of the already finished content.
This update introduces monster hunting: you will be able to face monsters in the swamps of the first adventure and bring them back to Artume. Doing so will be rewarded with experience and scene actions.
In order to hunt monsters, you first have to ask Artume to give you Capture Nets, which will give you a special battle action that is only usable against monsters while they're close to being defeated. Winning a battle while you have trapped a monster under a capture net will give you a "Captured Monster" altered state, which weaken you and prevent you to return to the tribe, but you can deliver it to Artume in exchange for the rewards.
The monster encounters might be unbalaced and have differences in difficulty depending on your build, so your feedback is most welcome here. During the following days, I will be working on tweaking the battle AI (and make NPCs use Holy Blast only against monsters for once), readjusting the difficulty of these encounters and expand the map AI to allow the other Candidates to participate in monster hunting as well, on their own and in cooperation with other Candidates.
Patch B: Fixed typos and fixed a bug that prevented the player from delivering Essence-Suckers to Artume.
