-----------------------------------------
For many years now, folks have been asking me to make old episodes of the Ken P.D. Snydecast available, as the first 159 episodes have been in the vault for the better part of the last decade.
For those of you unfamiliar with the show, it was one of the first podcasts... well, ever... starting back in January of 2006 and running a total of 234 episodes over 11 years. Here's the show's description:
- Adult Swim's Dana Snyder and FRED Entertainment's Ken Plume set out to have a literate conversation between two pals, but inevitably devolve into a verbal, and funny, free-for-all full of bickering, infighting, and the special kind of male bonding that comes from conflict expressed through the podcast medium.
And that was it, really. Just two pals chatting about whatever. And arguing about ridiculous things.
Over the coming months, I'll be releasing those old episodes in batches here as Patron exclusives (so, please don't distribute them). Some of the early episodes are a bit sonically rough, but if you want to listen to them, now you can.
Attached to this post, you'll find TWO zip files containing the following episodes:
- Ken P. D. SnydeCast #16: Tommy Can You Hear Me
- [adult swim]’s Dana Snyder and Ken Plume’s weekly chat podcast returns with a letter from out of the blue (straight from where they grow their own), Dana's illustrious voice-acting history, and Ken's growing distrust of his co-host.
- Ken P. D. SnydeCast #17: Friday the 13th
- [adult swim]’s Dana Snyder and Ken Plume’s weekly chat podcast returns with a special guest appearance from Ms. Sweetie Snyder, a discussion of the origins of Friday the 13th, and more insanity than you can shake a bushel of sticks at.
- Ken P. D. SnydeCast #18: Flyover States Part 1
- [adult swim]’s Dana Snyder and Ken Plume’s weekly chat podcast returns with a special guest, as Dana is trapped in the midwest with his good buddy Chip Duford in this special 2-part episode.
- Ken P. D. SnydeCast #18: Flyover States Part 2
- [adult swim]’s Dana Snyder and Ken Plume’s weekly chat podcast returns with a special guest, as Dana is trapped in the midwest with his good buddy Chip Duford in this special 2-part episode.
- Ken P. D. SnydeCast #19: All Hallow’s Grimace
- [adult swim]’s Dana Snyder and Ken Plume’s weekly chat podcast returns with Halloween preparations, McDonald's cuisine, and that same ol' lovable banter.
- Ken P. D. SnydeCast #20: Pachinko Fever
- [adult swim]’s Dana Snyder and Ken Plume’s weekly chat podcast returns with celebrations of their 20th podcast, talk of pachinko machines, and a surprise or two.
More to come, but for now - Enjoy!
