Episodes 6-10
-----------------------------------------
For many years now, folks have been asking me to make old episodes of the Ken P.D. Snydecast available, as the first 159 episodes have been in the vault for the better part of the last decade.
For those of you unfamiliar with the show, it was one of the first podcasts... well, ever... starting back in January of 2006 and running a total of 234 episodes over 11 years. Here's the show's description:
- Adult Swim's Dana Snyder and FRED Entertainment's Ken Plume set out to have a literate conversation between two pals, but inevitably devolve into a verbal, and funny, free-for-all full of bickering, infighting, and the special kind of male bonding that comes from conflict expressed through the podcast medium.
And that was it, really. Just two pals chatting about whatever. And arguing about ridiculous things.
Over the coming months, I'll be releasing those old episodes in batches here as Patron exclusives (so, please don't distribute them). Some of the early episodes are a bit sonically rough, but if you want to listen to them, now you can.
Attached to this post, you'll find TWO zip files containing the following episodes:
- Ken P. D. SnydeCast #11: Evil, Evil Visions
- [adult swim]’s Dana Snyder and Ken Plume’s weekly chat podcast returns, as the dynamic duo discuss a blindingly bad bit of internet awfulness.
- Ken P. D. SnydeCast #12: Inside The Actors Studio
- Dana & Ken run a verbal marathon as Comic-Con looms in the distance, but can they outrun the talentless pap of James Lipton's ghostly presence?
- Ken P. D. SnydeCast #13: The Logo Fiasco-rama
- Dana & Ken assemble a virtual (yet real) cornucopia of [adult swim] luminaries to judge the seemingly never, yet mercifully ending logo contest, with a guest list that includes The Venture Bros.' Jackson Pubick and Doc Hammer, Aqua Teen's Ned Hastings, Home Movies and Lucy, Daughter of the Devil's Loren Bouchard, writer extraordinaire Brian Studler, and the amazing Jennifer Stephens, direct from [as] headquarters. It's a real mess, but fun. Really. Trust us.
- Ken P. D. SnydeCast #14: Club 33
- Dana & Ken are on the road, traveling to the happiest place on Earth... or so they think. Anyway, it's a road trip, and it's this week's little slice of lunacy.
- Ken P. D. SnydeCast #15: The Prodigal ‘cast Returns
- After a far too long break, Ken & Dana return from the road, eager to get back to a normal routine. Which means telling travel stories, catching up on mail, and probably arguing.
More to come, but for now - Enjoy!

Amen to that brother.

Ken, these podcasts got me through some really tough times in the past, and I'm so glad they're being re-released. I'm missing eight episodes in total from my back-up drive, so I very much await the day I will have a complete Ken P.D. Snydecast collection. Yes, I am very normal.
