LifeLike-Simz : Cookbook + New Recipes
🕑 Added 2025-03-19 02:45:50 +0000 UTCThe much awaited cookbook is here and I bring you new recipes for your sims to enjoy! This is a continuous project, as I will provide more recipes monthly. All recipes and change logs will be linked/posted here, so please feel free to bookmark this post!
The Fine Details:
All recipes do NOT require a cooking skill level. Any sim with any cooking level will be able to prepare these dishes. Single serving & Party size serving options.
All recipes are restaurant available.
Some recipes will require a grill, please consider downloading my indoor grill (however any grill will do).
There is an option to purchase Alcohol as well. The only menu option at this time is my Don Julio Respaado Tequila, more alcoholic beverages will be dropping soon!
Please remove any old home recipes of mine and replace them with the new ones linked below. My Bomb Eats and Island Fusion recipes are not affected and can remain in your mods folder. Please also remove the LLS Custom Food XML file, as it is no longer needed.
The Cookbook can be found in Appliance > Misc. - or search 'LLS - Cookbook'
Finally, some recipes have cookware options (Stainless Steel & Copper) Please only download one version per recipe.

Hi there! A few of the recipes won't let the Sims eat. I clicked on the cooked food and the menu to grab a serving, call to meal, etc, isn't coming up. I know for sure the spicy noodles and the Reuben sandwich and chips aren't working.

I am having this same issue, as you indicated to search in Appliance > Misc. - or search 'LLS - Cookbook' and it still do not show up in my game. I have also downloaded the Don Julio and Juneteenth BBQ Set! and both show up in my game. so i am downloading the attachments correctly. please give update once it is fixed

your vegetarian foods are registering like they have meat in them. I've tried the veggie pizza and the bake potato, and I still get the bluff that my sim violated her principals by eating meat and she is a vegetarian

Unfortunately, I still got an immediate LE as soon as my game loaded. Not sure if this mod is conflicting with another, but it's not working in my game.

Love the way everything looks, but I got an LE as soon as my game loaded. I had to remove this mod from my folder, but I'll be keeping an eye out for updates so I can use this mod once it's updated because the food is absolutely gorgeous!

Hi, the Ravioli is throwing LE for me! Better exceptions lists it as potentially the problem. Has anyone else been having issues with it? I do play with SCOO, so I am wondering if it is an incompatibility with that recipe.

Sim says he can't cook a few dishes. He also received copper or stainless steel without duplicate recipes. He also updated it, of course. Still, Sim can't cook a few dishes in the game..

Thank you so much for this awesome mod! If not a bother, I am getting an LE from the cookbook or Bomb Eats and the food truck grizzada tarts and wasn't sure where to post this. The LE says "Error message: [andrew] Failed to load recipe : (AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'recipes'), CategoryID: exceptions_feedback:18"

Hello, when the menu doesn't pop up that can mean a problem with one of the recipes. Please make sure you don't have duplicate recipes for the copper or stainless steel options.

Hello! The cookbook acts as a method to be able to cook the recipes, but you will still need the different recipes for them to show in the cookbook

Hello Unique, sorry that the recipes aren't showing up for you. Everything is base game, and no other outside mods are needed. I'm new to modding and I'm still trying to figure out why my mods show for some and doesn't for others.

Hello Tia, I included copper cookware and stainless steel cookware. (You'll see this only while cooking) You should only choose one per recipe where the option allows. Hope that helps

I did experience something with the pork chop dinner I thought it was just a glitch, After I made the pork chop dinner it disappeared, but I had no issues with any other recipe
