The "invisibility cloaks" are just mylar lined ponchos. Mylar is what they make emergency hypothermia blankets out of. They are very IR reflective, so they trap heat. They are not perfect reflectors though, and will heat up over time and lose much of their "cloaking" effect. But for 5-10 minutes to run between tree lines, they would be effective against IR detection.

Glory to Ukraine and its brave heroes! The resilience displayed amidst critical ammo shortages is nothing less than miraculous. I earnestly hope that my country can transcend internal politics and swiftly resume essential aid to support Ukraine.
