You won't be able to please everyone so just make what brings you energy and joy. I'm always keeping an eye out for feminine units for the grim dark future that appeals to me. I'm interested in units that have a feminine silhouette to them that AREN'T JUST SMALLER AND/OR SKINNIER THAN MASCULINE UNITS. The silhouette of a character is what people will see first, before the model's detail, especially when it's for 28mm wargaming. This particular character concept doesn't appeal to me as it's subjectively too boring. No muscle definition in the top half (normal body-type with small traps, deltoids, biceps, triceps). Her forearms are thicker than her upper arms, which is not normal for a regular human, let alone for someone in a physically demanding career. I don't know what other people want in their female units, but I want my models to look like women on the tabletop (28mm scale). You may have to exaggerate proportions to achieve this look. Bigger chests, thinner waists, and bigger hips than male units, help with this silhouette - even if this is done by just adding clothing and armour in the right spots; like making the chest armour a demi cuirass instead of a full one or moving all of the pockets of this vest to another area that supports the female silhouette, like the thighs or just to the top of the torso. It's worth pointing out that your boobs don't add anything to this model's silhouette, due to making it level with the rest of the torso! Do you know what else has a flat torso? Male FRU's. One of the other creators I support has made some feminine demi-gods in space and the only thing they have done is made the chest armour slightly pop out more, and made the legs more womanly with thicker thighs, thinner lower leg armour (unlike the male variant who has exaggerated thick lower legs) and high heeled grav boots. Their models look identical to their male counterparts in every other way though; same arms, same heads, same backpacks, same waist, same shoulders - so I actually had no idea they were women until I was told they were. Their models just didn't look different enough from the male version to set them apart as their own thing. What makes these female FRU units look different from the male FRU? Thinner torsos, longer legs, boobs and a neck? Your male FRU don't have a visible neck because of their armour and their silhouette goes straight from their heads to their shoulders. Something that might set your female units apart is keeping the neck visible? But then does anyone want that? I want chicks in armour and shoulder pads and cool scarves, like the dudes! I don't want to see boob skin or cleavage, I want that covered up with armour. Make what brings you joy and gives you the energy to do what you do. Hopefully reading some random woman's thoughts on what she's looking for in female units helps.

I do appreciate representation in the hobby! Maybe a selection of 2-3 cup size torsos and legs/booty options. I’m willing to use BootyLegs on all my guys, too!

Resident Evil games are probably a good starting point for the art concept.
