🕑 Added 2017-05-23 20:14:16 +0000 UTC HiI currently finishing up the Mila part of the Maria date, and I didn't have a more "tamed" pic to put up.
Well, this is the patcher release.
I'll still be using both ways to distribute the game for a while, until I'm 100% sure that everything works properly.
It should be very simple to use.
Double click to install. Chose your folder and let it rip.
Once it's installed, click on the link on your desktop.
You will see 5 buttons.
From bottom to up:
1) Play (self explanatory)
2)"Ptolemy patreon" It's just a link to my patreon
3) " Get alpha version" ( I know it's spelled alfa, but it will be fixed :P). At this point, if you're a 20$ patron, you can use this button to get the latest alpha scene. It just basically takes you to a google drive link.
4)" Get free version" It links you to 0.044, the latest free version.
And the main event
5)"Update" It checks your version, and if there's a newer one, It patches it.
Please remember that it needs a clean install. The file and folder structure is different than what I've been using so far.
Right now, 0.048 is up on the server. Please download it, it will install itself, and this weekend, when 0.049 will be up, you'll only have to download about 500mb. It will also help me to get a read on the amount of traffic, and if any upgrades will be necessary.
When you click on "update" and "get alpha", you'll be asked to enter your email. This is your password. Please use the email you use on Patreon, any other won't be recognized by the server. After you enter your mail, our server, will query the Patreon server, to see if it matches with the one they have. If it does, the download will begin.

Hopefully this will help a great deal with bandwidth, and with bug fixing patches. Now I won't have to upload 8 GB, just to fix one bug.
