In Gravel's Care (Commission) [VAULT]

The Doctor lay collapsed on the office floor, sprawled out amidst the scattered contents of her desk. Her breathing was thick and restrained, each inhale an effort to work through. An attempt to stand failed, as did an attempt to crawl forward.
It happened all at once, a sudden wave of fatigue and dizziness, but it was her shifting perspective that ultimately tripped her; startled by the widening of everything around her, the Doctor stumbled out of her office chair, not having realized how much shorter her legs had become. Only in a cold sweat on the ground did she understand that she was shrinking, a transformation that shocked her body with compressed pains.
Gravel was stopped by the sight, her gasp covered by a wrist. “D-Doctor, what happened…?” She neared closer cautiously, skeptical of what sickness might have overcome her trusted commander. She had been outside the Doctor’s office when she heard the crash of her fall, prompting her to poke in. The teasing smile she had prepared vanished upon seeing the Doctor violently collapsed, quickly dropping the character and approaching the situation seriously.
Especially curious, Gravel knelt by the Doctor and the pile of coats she was underneath. Each layer weighed heavy over her shrinking body, a process Gravel only then realized was occurring. She could see the change happening, every part of the Doctor dwindling inwards while she coughed and whined. By the time Gravel had reached her, the Doctor was half her original height, small enough to be slipped out from her heavy coats and into Gravel’s arms.
“Doctor, you… don’t look well…” Gravel struggled to offer medical advice; the dynamic was completely backwards. But the operator understood her responsibility as a bodyguard, and her instincts had her responding swiftly. She stood up, lifting the Doctor into a cradle among the blanket-like clothes, and she offered an encouraging smile to the weary eyes she was so fond of. “You don’t need to worry, Doctor. I’ll protect you.”
It had been an itchy, restless sleep. The Doctor twitched and shivered while slumbering the worst of the sickness away. She could eventually breathe normally, but as she stirred, the soreness gradually became more apparent. An attempted yawn ended in a dry cough, the catalyst that awakened the Doctor. With her eyes closed, she pieced together the puzzle of what had last happened, remembering only that she fell from her chair without the strength to stand. Her fingers curled, feeling the coolness of a bedsheet -- after the trip, she deduced, someone must have taken her to the infirmary to recover.
But the Doctor stretched and soon realized that this was no infirmary bed. A sweep of chills ran over her skin as she also learned of her nakedness, adding to her sudden spark of confusion. Her eyes shot open and looked to each side, comprehending the surprising length of the bed; it stretched for tens of meters in all directions, ending in cliff-like edges that stopped short of a world that was wondrously wide. Being so exposed sunk the Doctor with feelings of vulnerability, a burden that made her slow to rise to her feet.
As unsettling as this alien environment was, a particular feature caught the Doctor’s attention from past the bedside. It was a pair of pink-furred ears atop a head of the same color, and as the Doctor neared the ledge curiously, those ears shook with alertness. The Doctor froze, but the figure sitting against the mattress shifted and turned, revealing inquisitive eyes that lit up over her.
The Doctor instantly recognized Gravel, but the name refused to be said aloud as she stumbled over a wrinkle in the sheets. Then, like a predator jumping on a weakness, the gigantic operator launched up to loom over the mattress. Her front was shrouded in her own shade as she cast a smile straight down onto the Doctor, who guarded herself with both arms raised forward in resistance.
“Doctor! You’ve finally woken up!” Gravel cheered, her speech emphasized by her face lunging closer down to the Doctor. Her size soon swallowed everything the Doctor could survey, presenting an intimidating presence that her positivity did little to mitigate. After a blink, Gravel at least reeled her head back, relieving the Doctor of some pressure. “Hehe. You’ve been knocked out for awhile, you know. Are you sore? Stiff?”
An interested finger hovered towards the Doctor, who had yet gathered the bearings to sit up. The outstretched digit came close, but it was the Doctor that made contact with it, shakily putting her palm against the tip. This lone finger was wider than her grasp, a quiver-inducing detail to touch upon. In contrast to the Doctor’s anxiousness, Gravel seemed lightly amused by the Doctor’s reaction, her smile slowly spreading.
“You probably figured this out by now,” Gravel chuckled, “but you had a nasty side effect regarding that experimental drug. It’s incredible what science can do~ It’s a shame you didn’t mean for this, hmm.”
The Doctor narrowed her gaze as she recalled the drug in question. What was meant to bolster her immune system had instead left her in a deeply weakened state, incomparable to any mundane disease or condition. Conceptualizing such a change and its implications swirled her mind into sickness anew, but a movement from Gravel spun her attention away from such concerns.
Gravel pushed herself up using the edge of the bed as support, lifting herself higher while the squashed mattress had the Doctor sink lower. Her smile was energetic, especially so at such a scale. “You seem so nervous~ Don’t worry, Doctor! Everything is taken care of. There are scientists working on a way to reverse the drug entirely, and you’ll eventually grow back to normal even if that takes too long.” She tilted her head, hoping some of her energy might pass onto the pale Doctor. “You’re in good hands, Doctor. It’s fortunate I happened to be passing by to check up on you~”
Although not entirely relieved, the Doctor did feel safer knowing that matters were under control -- mostly. It was not ideal to be watched over in such an embarrassing form, but the threat of Reunion spies taking advantage of this situation was too real to not consider. As the more major concerns dwindled, the Doctor instead took note of lesser worries; awkwardly, she hid her nudity with crossed arms and a turned-away pout.
“Aww, Doctor~ You look so fragile!” Gravel teased. The Doctor had little time to digest the insult before she was overwhelmed by a kiss, the sweetness of the huge gesture clashing with Gravel’s remark. The kiss was quick, rolling the Doctor over onto her back. Those same lips lingered above her, curved into a giggling grin. “You’re soo~ cute! I can’t believe I get to have you like this~”
Flushed by the surprise kiss, the Doctor crawled away for some meager distance between her and the giant flirt. An argument stuttered, but never formed -- how could she tell a giant Gravel not to act out in such a way? The dynamic between them had always been unique, but it was now obnoxiously exaggerated.
To force a change of topic, the Doctor looked to her surroundings, of which she still did not understand. “Gravel… Where did you take me?”
“My apartment, of course!” Gravel answered ecstatically. She motioned to her humble quarters, though the Doctor hardly had the angle to see much of it. “You always said you’d visit me eventually. Was this your plan from the beginning~?”
Bashfulness fell over the Doctor in the form of a shudder. She had indeed made those promises, but with nebulous commitment. Perhaps this was karma, the Doctor thought, for always blowing off Gravel’s advances. In such an extreme situation, the Doctor was only one grab away from literally being in the operator’s palms.
Gravel leaned closer, her nose pointed forward investigatively. Two big, blinking eyes forced a twitch out of the Doctor as they scanned her shivering body, producing a smile out of Gravel’s otherwise concerned expression. “Hmhm~ Are you cold, Doctor? You’re not trembling because of me, are you?”
The Doctor perked up in a red shade, nearly warm enough to ward the chill in the air. She hugged her body more tightly to keep her breasts concealed, and she twisted her legs over one another to hide her bush of hair. These efforts were in vain, as Gravel had clearly taken a mental snapshot of the Doctor’s nudity, if her persistent grin and stare were any hints.
“You shouldn’t stand out in the cold if you don’t want to,” Gravel remarked. She glanced up in thought, then returned her focus onto the Doctor with a flare of a smile. “Ah, I’ve thought of something~ Let me help you, Doctor…”
Two hands appeared over the bedside and encircled the Doctor from behind. Each palm closed in on her in an entangling grip, restraining her arms and legs as they removed her from the mattress. This initial motion made the Doctor gasp, but it was when Gravel stood up from off the floor that she squeaked in fright. Where she was originally resisting the fingers around her, the Doctor instead hugged them for support, fearful of the floor far below.
“Hah, you’re even lighter than I thought...~” Gravel whispered to herself as she brought her commander to be level with her chest. “Hehe~ I think this will keep you warm enough, Doctor~” She then placed the Doctor inside her jacket while zipping it up, creating a pocket against her bosom where the Doctor could be held. It was a somewhat precarious position, but the Doctor felt greater concern towards the area itself, that she was propped against her operator’s chest and left to hang over her jacket’s zipper. It had been embarrassing enough to be naked and under her watch, but now she was donned like an accessory, appropriately reflected in a full-body mirror that Gravel posed in front of.
“This really frees up my hands,” Gravel said with a giggle. In the mirror, her posture bent forward as to test the limits of the Doctor’s position in her coat. The Doctor thus squirmed into the chest behind her, poised to slip out if she didn’t. Gravel soon fixed her stance and made the zipper tighter, still bearing a positive smile. “This should be good, right? You’ll be warmed up in no time, hehe~”
Though caught in an embarrassing position, the Doctor could not deny that she was warmed by Gravel’s body and clothes. As usual, Gravel proved to be reliable and quick-thinking, and equally so was she still compassionate to an overbearing level. Exemplifying this blatantly was Gravel’s finger drilling into the Doctor’s head with a petting finger, ruffling up her hair with nearly enough force to push her down the zipper. The Doctor swatted up at the finger, but this only proved how unstoppable any of Gravel’s quirks were at this scale.
A little whine was heard from the Doctor, provoking the finger to curl away. Gravel looked down curiously, worried her playfulness might have hurt her. The Doctor, too, looked down at herself as another groan rumbled from her. Gravel raised a brow, “Is that… your stomach?” The Doctor did not answer, but a drop in her head spoke enough. Gravel giggled, “Ohh, that’s adorable~ You’re hungry!” The Doctor sighed, unsure how a simple detail could garner such enthusiasm from anyone.
Then, a shocking rumble of a noise came from behind the Doctor, sudden enough to make her hop where she was perched. It was Gravel’s stomach that groaned, but from the Doctor’s perspective, it was a ferocious growl capable of rattling her. Such intensity was casually massaged away as Gravel put a hand to her gut. “Seems we’re both hungry,” she hummed, her head craned over the tiny woman against her chest. “Heh~ I’ve been looking forward to feeding you, actually. I know just what to fetch.”
The motion of Gravel’s stroll over to a mini-fridge was a challenging series of bumps for the Doctor hanging to her coat. She felt the ripple of every footfall travel through the giant body, each tremor a risk that she might lose her grip on the zipper. After several steps were endured, however, Gravel then leaned forward to open up the fridge, with little consideration for the passenger at her chest. The Doctor contested with gravity’s changes, but the draft of frosty air that ventilated up from the fridge caused her grip to shiver and slip, until finally--
“Ah, here. Yogurt~” Gravel straightened her stance with a cup of yogurt in hand, giving it a small toss between palms. She glanced down at her chest, “This should be easy for you to eat, I think-- er, Doctor?”
The Doctor had fallen free from her position at the zipper, her grip lost when Gravel jumped up. Gravel immediately stepped back a pace, gawking down her body in surprise. She lifted a foot, worried the Doctor could have been stepped on, but she found her instead clinging to her leg. Indeed, after falling right out of Gravel’s coat, the Doctor secured a safe landing by grappling the operator’s thigh holster. The inwards buckles made for sturdy footholds while the fabric of her socks allowed the Doctor to grip onto the leg. It was a close save, but still a peril.
In spite of this, Gravel giggled aloud at the Doctor’s outcome. “Oh my, Doctor~ Exploring the territory, are we?” she teased, a hand planted on her hip. Every sway of her body was another test of the Doctor’s grapple on her holster. The Doctor met her amusement with a flustered frown, but this only prompted Gravel to chuckle further. “Don’t act so scared-- I would have caught you! Like this, perhaps…” Her thighs began to close together slowly like two walls moving to meet. They approached near enough for the Doctor to reach out and touch an exposed circle of flesh from one of the sock’s tears -- if the Doctor was tempted to do so. Had Gravel wanted, she could squash the Doctor’s body between her legs and hold her in place without contest.
The Doctor imagined that happening, but was instead plucked up from under her arms. Gravel’s hand then formed around her into a comfortable seat just big enough for her to recline in, quickly elevating her up to face level. The warm grin that encompassed the Doctor’s vision soon flushed her with another surprise kiss, the lips coming and going before she could brace for its impact. Seeing the Doctor visibly overwhelmed made Gravel’s smile that much wider as she stepped into the center of her apartment.
Gravel dropped to the floor into a cross-legged perch, the speedy motion requiring the Doctor to hug her palm tightly. Her grip would have to be forced off by Gravel as the bodyguard encouraged her to sit on her lap. The Doctor blushed intensely to find herself in such a belittled position, sat above Gravel’s crotch with her legs coiled in front of her. Bending her neck straight back, the Doctor looked up the slope that was Gravel’s upper body, looming overhead like a protective barrier, sporting still that sunny smile.
“Are you cozy there? It’s a nice seat to relax in, isn’t it?” Gravel asked with a giggly tone. The Doctor did not respond, barely even shifting where they were in worry they might tickle or prod Gravel the wrong way. Gravel noticed this nervousness and warmly put a petting finger over the Doctor’s head. “If you’re uncomfortable or something, just say so, Doctor~ I only want you to feel at ease with me.”
Still hesitant to play into Gravel’s games, the Doctor remained mostly still, yet allowed herself to recline into a wrinkle of the operator’s jacket. “I’m… not uncomfortable,” she at least admitted, huddled into her arms for warmth. A “thank you” was close to coming out, but she restrained that much -- she would not let Gravel have too much.
Nonetheless, Gravel was pleased with the response. She tore open the yogurt’s lid and spooned out a hefty helping. “Want some?” she asked, bringing the spoon’s tip close to where the Doctor sat. The Doctor leaned away, taken back by the proportion served to her; Gravel chuckled and instead took the yogurt for herself, instantly swallowing what had been a mound of food to her shrunken leader. The Doctor watched from below as the spoon slid from her lips, completely clean with little more than a gleam of saliva. Gravel returned the Doctor’s stare with a smile, “Something interesting, Doctor? Do I have something on my cheek? Hehe…”
The Doctor refrained from comment yet again -- that small giggle was evidence enough that Gravel knew what kind of effect her larger-than-life motions caused. Instead, her reaction was to hold her gut just as it let out a groan of hunger. Being teased to have food was made worse by the rhythm of Gravel’s stomach, which produced quiet whines after the bite of yogurt.
“Hmhm~ I suppose you’ll need some assistance eating, won’t you?” Gravel said. She sighed coyly, “Our poor, unfortunate Doctor… Too small to even eat a yogurt cup without someone else’s help…”
The Doctor squirmed, embarrassed by this fact. Gravel’s playfulness only extended so far, and with a new scoop of yogurt, she offered the spoon close to the Doctor. Up close, it was an intimidating amount of food, with chunks of fruit too big to possibly enjoy, served from silverware that was the scale of a serving bowl. Of course, it was equally appetizing, and the Doctor leaned forward for a bite -- only for it to be pulled away, leaving her with an open, unfilled mouth.
Gravel jittered from her giggles, tilting the position the Doctor was in as a result. “Hah, too slow~ Guess this bite’s for me, too.” The Doctor watched as the yogurt was lifted up to Gravel’s lips again, this time licked into her mouth with a purposeful display. Gravel made sure to audibly hum with delight, ensuring she would inspire jealousy. The spoon was removed with even more emphasis on its cleanliness, turned about so the Doctor could clearly see the result. “Mm, it’s quite satisfying… I might just finish this whole cup by myself--”
“Gravel…” the Doctor finally sighed, “please…”
Gravel cracked into a laugh. “Okay, sure sure~ I’m done messing around~” Another scoop of yogurt was picked up and brought low to her lap. Burdened with an awkward angle, the Doctor reached ahead for the spoon and took its round head into her palms. She guided it to her mouth, where the yogurt could then be enjoyed lick by lick. Through her grip on the silverware, the Doctor could plainly feel the strength of Gravel’s pinch on it, a sturdiness in her grasp that was reliable, almost maternal. Gravel seemingly felt the same sensation; “It’s like feeding a little baby bird~ So cute…”
The Doctor pulled away to take a breath, and so Gravel rose the spoon away, eating up the rest with a single swallow. There was an impressive aspect to watching the operator eat, enough so that the Doctor keenly observed the spoon’s content disappear between her lips. Even these most mundane matters of life carried with them a certain weight that had the Doctor shiver, though it was undecided if it was a shiver of fear or excitement.
Gravel’s eyes then met with the Doctor’s, catching the tiny woman staring up at her. Gravel’s spreading smile was faster than the Doctor could look away. “Keeping an eye on me, Doctor?” she teased. The Doctor shuddered, provoking a sympathetic giggle, “I always appreciate the attention, you know~ Here, take another bite.”
Another cloud of yogurt was presented in front of the Doctor, which she again leaned out towards. By mistake, Gravel overcompensated for the Doctor’s short reach, causing the yogurt to be pushed into her upper body. The cold, slimy texture was a shock to the unsuspecting Doctor, who pushed away from the spoon wearing a messy splatter of yogurt down her front. Gravel retracted the spoon, her surprised motion rattling the woman sitting on her lap.
“Oops…” Gravel winced, her occupied hands fretting apologetically in front of the Doctor. “Heh. I think I got too excited,” she eased into a chuckle, “you’re just too precious~ Here, I can clean that up for you, of course!”
The Doctor was still stunned by the yogurt’s coolness when the throne she sat upon began to rise and shift. “G-Gravel--!” she stammered, too late to change Gravel’s course. She set aside the yogurt and spoon, using a freed hand to hug the Doctor against her waist while she stood up. She then laid out the Doctor in her palm face-down, gently rolling her onto her side with a nudge from a finger. The weight of Gravel’s watch was strong overtop of the Doctor, who huddled into her arms at a weak attempt of decency -- looking up at Gravel’s caring expression caused more distortion as she maneuvered around the apartment, a straightforward face with the moving world a blur just past her.
From a drawer, Gravel took out a simple rag and lifted it before the Doctor for her to see. “Hehe… Stay still, Doctor~” Her warning was not needed when the cloth came over the Doctor, her grasp proving to be stronger than the Doctor could possibly resist. She truly was at the mercy of Gravel’s whims, but those whims were nonetheless delicate and nurturing, groping the Doctor’s body with a broad thumb until the splash of yogurt was cleaned off -- and then more, certainly for Gravel’s pleasure. The Doctor assumed as much when she noticed Gravel lean in closer, especially observant of how the nude person in her possession shook and squirmed to her touch.
Right after the rag was removed from the Doctor, Gravel planted herself onto the bedside, enough of a bounce to make her passenger hop in her hand. Following that drop was another, as Gravel playfully fell back into the bed and stretched out; the Doctor, despite how they hugged Gravel’s fingers, slid free from her grasp and tumbled onto the mattress. All the movement had left her disoriented, her slowness after the fall entertaining the operator that surrounded her.
The shrunken experience as a whole had been dizzying, the Doctor only beginning to feel its broader effects after having circled through the apartment. Back in the bed, she grounded herself in the plush field, rising slowly to reexamine the huge world she was in. Rather than scope out the apartment, however, her attention honed onto the landscape that was Gravel, her form spread far across the bed, her legs curling into one another like large, shifting walls. The Doctor turned to look at Gravel’s face, but as she did, a hand fell over her, cast onto her like a blanket that hugged her back down into the mattress.
The Doctor wrestled her head out from Gravel’s grasp just in time to see her unleash a mighty yawn from further up the bed. Her fingers curled around the Doctor’s body, embracing her in a comfortable tightness, but the Doctor still insisted she be let go, slipping free with a decent push against her wrist. She crawled forward on the sheet, but Gravel soon took hold of her again, putting her back in that same position.
“Heh… Not very easy for you to get away, is it?” Gravel lightly commented. She sparked a grin, “That makes you much easier to watch out for~ Hm, as your bodyguard, maybe we should keep you like this?” The small hint of seriousness in her tone afflicted the Doctor with the thought, stuck at her few inches of height without a remedy -- “I’d have an easier time keeping you safe, if I could just keep you in my pocket, hmm…”
“That’s not very funny…” the Doctor replied, muffling much of her volume into the mattress. Gravel’s response was to drag her up the bed and to her cheek, a cushiony surface that swelled over the Doctor’s body as it rubbed her up and down cheerily.
“Aww, don’t be so grumpy, Doctor!” Gravel laughed -- her voice was piercing with how close the Doctor was to her mouth. “You know that I’m only teasing you~ and you make it so easy. Won’t you let me dream for a bit?” She moved the Doctor off from her face, allowing her to see closely the frail woman huddled in her tender fist. Her eyes narrowed softly, a slow blink of affection towards her commander. “It’s perfect having you in my hand like this, Doctor. I hope you feel safe with me. I always feel much better when I have you around…”
The Doctor squirmed under the breaths that befell her from Gravel’s words, shifting herself under the heavy hand. Regret for what she had said earlier pained her chest; Gravel was obviously passionate about their bond with one another, and it was not the Doctor’s intention to push her away. She thought of how to respond to Gravel and reassure her, but was slow to reply with how embarrassed she felt.
When she next looked up to Gravel, ready to admit something, the loyal operator had fallen asleep. The Doctor scoffed, testing if she had actually slumbered off, but her closed eyes were unflinching to the noise, only enough to make her rodent ears quiver with notice. From the Doctor’s perspective, she was a toy locked into a snuggle with a giant owner, a dynamic that while still belittling to the adept neurologist was ultimately welcoming, soft, and protective -- even while Gravel slept, her size more than assured a sense of safety for the Doctor, who found herself cuddling closer to that pillowy cheek.
What the Doctor had wanted to say could wait until after a nap, which Gravel had earned. While the operator began to quietly snore, the Doctor crawled to her lips and stealthily put a kiss of her own into their soft texture. It seemed only fair, after all the kissing she herself was bound to endure.
