Upload Notes: Treasured - Chapter Three
🕑 Added 2020-01-13 11:16:18 +0000 UTCThe third installment to Treasured is finally here~ I hope people are excited to see this adventure continue, because as I've told Mr. Nobody several times now, this is a really fun story for me to write! Creative ideas are coming together the further we go, I'm hyped for this story to keep going. It may not be the steamiest of my stories, but it's a well proportioned combination of fun, heartwarming, and cute. I like to think so, anyway~
Yvedawn and Daemon definitely found their character arcs here, I would say. I had to think about these two for awhile to understand their chemistry and how it should develop. It took me longer than it should have to realize they have a bit in common~ Two people that want to see the romance of the world, tired of being stuck where they are. I was fearful that these two could end up becoming shallow if I wasn't careful, but I believe their depth is definitely notable now, making them more than just The Pairing. Both have goals that are beyond just, fucking and trucking, hah, which is what a lot of these types of stories would normally go towards...
But I think the underrated hits are the Tides. Grayson, Trea, Thrakk, and Ljos all came together for some fun dynamics. I really wish I could spend even more time fleshing them out in that dinner scene, but there's plenty of time to catch up with them. My compromise was to have Grayson interact with everyone decently on some level, so that we all see some different sides of the Tides -- he's obviously got a relationship with Trea, he synchronizes with Thrakk in combat, and he's well-versed enough to keep up with Ljos. I hoped to make him shine as an inspiration for Daemon, as if you could see why Daemon fell in love with him when he came into town.
Of course, all of their interactions with Daemon are important as well and help give them all unique character. Because of how cozy it all was, my favorite part was Daemon cooking with Trea. Daemon has been such a bumbling fool through all of this, haha, I felt he needed an appropriate scene to show that he isn't suffering from Useless Protagonist Syndrome. In case you're wondering, Daemon learned to cook from his mom, of course~ And I know no one asked, but yes, Daemon's mom... is a milf. I know I literally did not describe anything about her, but rest assured............... milf.
This really brings me back to my D&D days, haha. I haven't been able to play for over a year now, so all that backed-up creativity had to shit itself out somewhere. I love classic fantasy stories like this, where you can sort of see what classes everyone would fit into, what their stats would be like. This has been a great outlet for me, but at the same time... fuck I want to play some D&D! Hah, it's made me consider an old idea I had, of trying to arrange a tabletop game with a size fetish spin, you know, for size fetishists. I actually tried my hand DMing a size-focused campaign once, it was going really well until life came up~ Since then, I've wondered other ways to include the size fetish into D&D or something similar, because while I do enjoy casual role playing with the size fetish -- you know, regular free-form role play -- I also think mechanics and structure could really boost the experience.
I rambled way too much here, hah. Please let me know what you thought of the story if you do read it~ Thanks again to Mr. Nobody for your continued support! This story will be go public over the next few days, split into two parts, so if you're a patron, enjoy the exclusivity~
