I don't think I've ever seen one specifically about being a proud parent. I've certainly seen custom-printed shirts with pictures of people and accompanying messages on them ("Happy Birthday Aunt Jean" or whatever), but yeah, I think I made up this specific kind of shirt for this story. UNLESS it was inspired by a real shirt I saw somewhere during or prior to 2010 and I've just forgotten about it in the intervening years.

I have heard of shirts like the one in the story and I guess I’ve seen them in printing catalogues etc. but I have never actually seen a proud parent T-shirt. Have you, or is this like an urban legend but for shirts?
