Diary Update 29.07.2020
🕑 Added 2020-07-29 17:00:06 +0000 UTC
TL;DR – Been a busy month! Next month for reals will be outline finishing and catchup on artworks rather than fresh new ones – Artwork will flow, but maybe sluggishly(??). Month of maybe some comprise but art will flow. Love you all, take care, cheers!
-----------------------------------
July is near all but a memory at this point. Another month is behind us in what feels like a flash and it feels like I was typing last month update what felt like moments ago, but here we are. What 'ya goina do? So let's go!
--- July ---
July has been a honestly really busy month for me and for the last few weeks feel like I haven't stopped working on content. I've adding to things and generally putting quite a lot of time into my creative works. I'm not going to say I'm on a creative high, but waking up and getting on with bits, working towards the next thing, painting and CG'ing this and that... it's been good, but tiring!
I've been pretty pleased for sure what's happened and come on out and while I'd like a little more time to have spent on a few images for minor touch ups, the inner perfectionist in my has had to let the content flow a little bit. Having to cut a few corners to get content out is something I cringe at but has to happen for this whole art schedule thing to happen.
I've been a little less 'absolute' with a checklist like approach this last month and followed my drive to create in areas I wanted to. It's been quite liberating and I think got better results for doing so.
The only thing I'd feel this month is off is that the Futanari content wasn't balanced and the iGAPES works got more attention – which I'm hoping to fix as soon as I've written this and press on with a new XXL Futa of some sorts. Lord knows I TRY and get even the art out but us is a huge challenge at times. I'm not going to lie, at times I wish I could only focus on one fetish, but I know you folk enjoy both kinks in equal measure.
A few weeks back I was on a creative drawing binge and was inspired by things I'd seen and wanted to do my spin on (such as some 'triangle' women – bottom heavy / hipped proportions as an example). These images have yet to get out there and will be looking to be worked on and released soon once their ready. I think the results are solid and looking forwards to getting them out!
However my focus to go back and finish off old artwork this month as planned was a bust ¬_¬ I'd tried but found too many distractions with ideas I wanted to see and do (see above). If your a creative you'll know the drive to see things burning in your minds eye come out when your inspired a VERY hard thing to put down and walk away from, lol.
--- August Plans ---
So I think as a result August will have to be catchup / finish off month (gee this seems familiar an idea ^^) and will have to force myself to be VERY limited with new art - maybe just making August's iGAPES Girl only and just making the rest of the month catchup instead. Not a fan, but I think is very necessary at the same time! The uncoloured but partly released futanari office worker and June iG ring girl weight heavy on my conscience for being incomplete. I'll have to fix this.
So this upcoming month will be interesting how things shake out. The content flow maybe a little uneven but I'm not in the habit of not delivering content to you all. Believe it or not I'm still trying to work out the best way to make this Patreon work and these kinds of things may just happen from time to time and I deeply thank you for your understanding.
Also there maybe some disruption as RL and this virus madness clash a bit more and will effect my time and limit down a touch what I can produce. I can't give more details ATM till it gets closer but it will happen. I'm just grateful it's not happened sooner honestly.
--- Photomanipulation Bonuses ---
I've managed to get a the manips ready for the next month as of yesterday - yay! So believe it or not I had a small backlog of them when I first started and they are starting to dry up a little. What it means is that I'll have to spend another day working on getting a these images ready. In a worst case scenario maybe drop it down the released quantity but hopefully that's not the case. Hopefully you're all enjoying this content still!
--- Honey Select Edits ---
Recently I'd leaned on the painted on 3d images to get some content out there. It honestly is many hours put into it, but results are solid and I can't hate on that but my plan is to head back to my art for a little while and maybe limit these to one a month or something give or take.
They are fun and something new but in review may have just done a little more of them then I like – but... if nothing else they saved me from burn out when I was getting pretty pretty bored CG colouring art such crazy high resolutions, (if I have to add another bloody base, depth, shadow, light, glow and cast shadow layer to something I'll go mad... >_< lol) – anyhow, yes, maybe more art and less of these – I'll try and limit it down just for the moment but I hope you enjoyed them all the same - know I do.
--- Backgrounds ---
This is such a weird one for me. I've tried to care about them in the past and for sure they bring something to the image and such, but when I've tried to do HD items around the girls and details of the room my will to draw drop, closely followed by me will to live.
I gave it another go and hated it again, lol. To me it's a waste of time at I could be painting up another girl.
You see when you put a few extra colours into something more than cell shading, when you drop her into a plain background it can look very jarring and out of place. You may or may not appreciate it, but I put much effort into CG'ing
I like with many of the PNG's you can get the background free version of the girl and she can sit in mid-air without the BG around her (the benefit of PNG's, even if they are huge file sizes) almost like the art stands on its own. Between painted on rough BG's and maybe photo added backgrounds I may try my luck doing this going forwards and drop the HD BG's, I hope people don't mind too much.
--- Feedback ---
If you've been a legend as read to this point; thank you, but also I'd like to put out a little thing here that I do enjoy feedback. It's strange, porn being porn even if its also art and such doesn't tend to get people shouting out too much what they like and want to see more of, funny I know.
I don't expect people to push likes and such or public comments (which I hold dear and love to see, but don't expect) but as a point to mention that I am here and looking at what I do and just hope it's what people want.
If you ever want to see more of something or have some feedback for me you can always contact me and let me know.
Here on Patreon (public or private) OR Discord (And or email if ya really want) but to say if you want me to change something or want more of other things unless you let me know it might not happen – so if you feel strongly on something your most welcome to let me know. I'll see if I can do anything for you ^_^.
--- Games ---
We had the steam sale this month – amazingly I was very restraint. Here are a handful of things I have played recently and maybe worth a consideration.
// Neon Abyss // If you enjoy some rougelites like Isaac or maybe a hint of gungeon you may enjoy this. A platform shooter which is your usual going from room to room and getting hopefully good items and gaming the game. Not crazy deep as some rougelites just now but yeah... enjoyed my time with this one so far.
// C&C Remastered // – Well I've been playing this on hard and still love and hate the challenge. I've done a good few missions on hard so got a goal to do every mission on hard before to long.
// Duke Nukem: Megaton Edition // – thanks to a video by Civvie 11 (cool youtube channel if you've missed it) I finally was told about a stupid crack in the wall that stopped my progress on the DC monument map many months ago and so played an hour of that classic - almost in spite of it keeping me annoyed all these months.
// You don't have time // – Indie puzzle room game. Button, hidden switches, timing and number combinations. I like a challenge like this from time to time. Yet to complete it, but making my way. Sneaky game!
// Dawn of War: Apocalypse Mod // – New update to one of my most loved games. I have had more fun then I should have stomping a huge warlord titan around. Well worth a play still.
// The Eternal Castle // – I'm Savouring this experience. Heavy rotoscoped pixel and limited colours means a REALLY special experience honestly. Very prince of persia / flashback / another world like, and I love that stuff.
// The Pit: Infinity // – The FSP, real time version of a rougelite. The rougelite is fucking hard, and this is just stupidly redonkulus. Fun and quite the joy to see pixel graphics in the unreal engine and such, but it's a pain and frustration simulator!
And aside from Spire and Monster Train which are quick pick up and play titles I'm almost impressed I've been as restraint and not played more recently – Way to go me, lol
--- Other Stuff ---
Backup – Just a friendly reminder as I'm doing this as I'm trying right now to back just consider backing up your files. It's been a month for me of my art I don't want to lose but I'm sure the same applies to you all too – just something to consider ^_^
Well thats all for now. Thanks for baring with me as I push on for more fun and funky artworks and media ahead!
I say it each time and mean it, but again thank you all so very much for the support and making this stuff happen. I've been able to make and create more this 1st half of the year than I have in recent memory and it down to the motivation and aid you've giving that making this all happen, so thank you!
Enjoy yourselves out there but be safe and I'll get back and on with my work. More very shortly and or otherwise keep being awesome and have a great one! - Sius
